Still waiting on my petition to be answered although I did get an email back saying there is a backlog and they will answer the petition asap....

I lost a Raven about a month ago due to a bug, petitioned, waited about 2-3 weeks before I said screw it.

Yeah this bug happened to my corp mate when he was NPC hunting in 0.0 he warped out of a belt and was still targeted by the rats and was still doing damage to them. The distance between the belt and the station was over 28au he got a screenie of it which he sent to me looks very impressive tbh.

what happened to sochin was different i think :/ when that happened my screen locked up so if i was moving it didnt show up. maybe something like this has happened to me? ;p i was jumped out of a system but i was suddenely blown and dead ;p the campers even saw me jump.... ;p no plants and a livable loss so when the petition button didnt work i let it go ;p

This has happened to me countless times over the last few days, it almost cost me my ship a few times also(lost that to afk last night, of all things). I think in my case it must be something very wrong with the ISP, as access to alot of sites has been going up and down like crazy recently. Which ISP are you with? I'm with Plusnet.

Yup, one of my corp mates had this happen to them.
He and I were on a L4 mission and I noticed his shields were about to fail when on my screen I saw him warp out.
All fine except for the fact that the rats blew him up as he reached the station about 14au away.
Now I can understand lag might have affected one client... but the fact that I saw him leave the combat area would suggest the server knew pretty damn well that he had left... and still blew him up.
On the positive side the petition was answered about 3-4 days later with his ship/modules restored.

yeah the other person who was there with me also watched me warp out in my Raven then make a return appearance in my pod 1minute + later 
I got a reply a few hours ago too saying there very busy etc.

This seems quite worrying that so many people are experiencing this. I mean losing a nice ship + modules because of a mistake you make, fair enough. But to lose everything because of some silly lag/server problems (which have been introduced as I never experienced this 'back in the day') just seems a little more than annoying. |
