http://img89.imageshack.us/img89/5721/picture169s.png is happening often, usually when I quit. Plus Eve is crashing when I'm in the middle of missions since the 4th optional patch which broken can window positions again (after #3 worked fine *sigh). Sometimes Eve quits as I'm playing and no error is given. Other times it quits, relaunches itself, but there are two copies running in the Dock - one of which cannot be brought to the front.
Just in general Eve is becoming even more unplayable, if that is at all possible. I have tried clearing caches and running the Mac repair tool (found no problems). I am now trying reinstalling Eve and restoring an old copy of my settings.
Man I have never played an MMO that fails so badly so often *long sigh* -- Frog blast the vent core! |

Just launched my new copy of Eve. It froze and had to be force quit when I quit it - another thing that happens frequently :-( -- Frog blast the vent core! |

I've been getting that error message and when I go into the console to check on the error messages I'm getting a cider error involving a plist file that doesn't exist.

Same problem, game keeps freezing my I-mac everytime i log off / quit. It's very annoying to have to restart the brute restart the machine everytime. I play since just 10-12 days ago but the problem appeared lately, with the incursion patch.

Yup, 2 things I have found that extend game time without this occurring: A) Turn off in game sound and music. b---> Reinitialize your ISp connection by restarting your computer right before going online
ON another Mac front I was able to get to a little bit of the latest Incursion in Eystur without freezing into a lagwagon so there is hope for my fleet fighting career yet. Props CCP

try holding down Command-Shift-Option-Escape usually it takes 3 seconds to kill an app with this but eve takes a little longer and with it you don't have to hard reboot the mac.

Yeah I do that :-)
FYI - Eve is still frequently bugging out with these errors upon quit in Incursion. This is now under 10.6.5 on a mid-2007 24" iMac with 4GB RAM. -- Frog blast the vent core! |
