Edited by: Sabadagus on 06/01/2005 14:05:47 For over a year, we have stayed out of the spotlight making sure to be overlooked. I guess those days are over. Looks like JQA and Syndicate finally got the attention we didnt want it to get :)
1. Breakdown of the battle last night.
No apparent smack, acceptable lag, great fun for everybody involved
This is how the deck was/is stacked right now.
Carebare saints (good guys) JQA 3rd Front
PvP horde (ebil invaders, eaters of babyes) Surpremacy Vengance of the fallen Rona KIA Mercenary forces Armoured assasins Clankillers Geeklab (dont remember if there were any others)
PvP horde: Standard fleet battle tactics ect. (Made me realize alot of things, thanks)
Carebare saints: More enthusiasm than experience. Things could have gone badly for JQA if is wasnt for exellent leadership of our commanders. Still to many bs losses on our side compared to the enemies. I understand how some people feel the need to scew facts about ship losses, but lets keep this conflict as possible "on the table" regarding that.
This is JQAs first large fleet battle so we were a litle light on experience. Last night was a good learning experinece and will result in more competiency in the future.
2. Why are the evil invaders here?
I honesly have no idea how all theese different corps joined forces and invaded us (I didnt even imagine they could all mix well together). It would be fun to know. Id like for it to have more substance than just CounterStrike style senseless fragging, it would make the fighting more meaningfull and fun to have an Eve reason. Anyone care to elaborate?
3. Is JQA here to stay, can the peacfull miners drive off the ebil horde?
Yes. The end result will be a stronger and healthier JQA.
Sabadagus Unforgivn JQA
btw (Anyone else that should be added to the lists on either side for tonight?)
*EDITED* This post is supposed to be on a light note in good humor and meant to be taking that way. So anyone taking offence of being called ebil and baby eating I apologize :)

Motives?
Let me see, their alliance breaks up, they are pretty mad, want to bash something, hmmm... lets pick two of the little alliances so we don't lose much.
Seems clear cut to me

3FA consists of 17 member corporations, 515 pilots reside under its sovereignty.
JQA isn't on the ALLIANCES page yet but it's probably similar in numbers.
So lets say a bit over 1000 members total. Majority of which are industrialists and miners.
Supremacy 232 members VOTF 140 members Rona-KIA 79 members MF 71 members ASS 56 members 206 (Clankillers) 41 members GEEK 31 members
Total 650 members, with around 100% being PVP-ers
so 1000 industrialists vs 650 PVP-ers, doesn't seem very uneven does it...

Our attack had sod all to do with CA and it's politics. We had this planned for months. If you knew ANYTHING about our corp you will know we enjoy little site seeing trips. It keeps eve fun. Reverend Necrona |

How can you say that when last night we probably had the largest, longest, most sustained battle in Eve's history
[Smack on] if we wanted what you suggested, we would have fought you guys again !!! j/k

Really wish I'd been there, sounds like it was great fun,if slightly laggy
As for people wanting to find some motive behind all this, did it ever occur to people that seeing as these guys are pvp corps, that they attacked us to get some pvp action? Obviously I'm just guessing here, but maybe people are looking a little too deeply into the reasoning behind it... --- "Due to the European lard shortage, we are currently unable to supply this product." |

Ok, I shall explain this a bit...
1) I would NEVER kill a kitten. Catgirls 4tw.
2) Most of the members in our corps are alts. Most of us have more than 2 accounts. I myself have 6 accounts, with 4 battleship mains, and an elite ship main (and I have more battleships/elite ships than they can all fly at the same time.) sooo.... take those numbers as inflated.
3) You guys drop far better loot than SA/XF.
4) Did I mention CATGIRLS FOR THE WIN??1??!!!oneone!1!?eleven -----------------------------------

Estimations is that it was 50 SUPRM& friends VS 100 JQA. If you ever fought CA, you know that our fleets were never larger than 50-150 people. 650, god i would sign for it right away. __________________________

Lol we must have made a great impression. To make it clear on your estimates: JQA+3rd front was a gang of 65 ppl and I would guess (as our scouts counted) the oposing forces had the same amount of ppl. They had the pvp experience most of us didn't but we had the will to fight till the bitter end.
As for supremacy planning this for weeks... what's new that's why you have contacts

Think bedlam.
I am guessing we are hitting 200+ in VV-VCR at the moment.
Map has died.
Screen won't update. I warped in and out 5 times with frozen graphics on screen, got to fire off shots, beforeI got slingshotted back to a safespot.
Dropped from game, unable to log back in...*sighs*
I'm cursed. Now I'm finally there, in the combat, and I crash, while warping back to the gate.
I hope it's not over before I get back on.

i logged in just in time to warp to the fleet before my comp crashed, as the gate began the lightshow of the year. So right, i reboot, relog, wait 10-15 minutes logging in, return out of gang warping to the battle, ending up smack in the middle of well.. the fight dampening a couple of ships, then getting targted by a heck load of ships warping out, crashing again, and im still trying to log in but from what i can hear on TS.. its a.. biig.. *******.. battle :D hope ccp have their servers insured! platinum all the way
