Battle has so far been raging for two and a half hours, and is still ongoing. Was called as primary target early in the battle, warped out and lagged out, CTD'd and can't log in, like a large number of us unfortunately.
However I believe the battle is going very well.
Btw JQA/3FA - Enslaver is NOT first target tbh.

hmmpf, damn lag....
When we tried to enter the vv- system we were jumping in for like 5minutes and then my screen started to give me some info about how it was going.
And the endless fighting omg, really i don't understand how you CA guys can play in such a lag OO MM GG. So much drones, So much ships and a hell of a lag. My ship doesn't answer for 10-20seconds *sigh*.
I have to say nice battle, alltough at the end there was a misunderstanding of the location we should warp to and lost my raven You guys loved me there? didn't you? There were enough targets arround me, WHYYY MEEEEEEE
Boehoe, still i don't like this battles  so laggy so hard to use the modules 
Oh well fun fight  Think it is still going on.

Big Props to R-K, VOTF, SUPRM They fought as hard if not harder then we did.
It really was an amazig battle that lasted for over 6 hours if i'm correct.
All in all i hope we can continue smackless in the future, and show you guy's more of the JQA determination.

ive been only tackling in the battle, and sometimes was a pain in the ass (very well antitackler job), if just cpp fixed the lag to a 50% at least...those battles would be even more fun :D and yeah very tiring :\ off to bed, gg all :)

We comfirm that SUPRM only lost 2 Battleships and and afew cruiser, frigates in that fight. We belive in total we lost around 4 Battleships.
Props to JQA & 3RD FRONT for a well fought battle that lasted around the 5 hour mark. Hope we have more battles like it

I got myself 3 new ships the market in that area is crappy

At about 20:00, I was planning on a few hours Eve and an early night. I didn't expect to spend 5 hours in the best fleet battle ever! Looks like I'll be in a bit late tomorrow....
I usually really really really hate blob wars, but in this one the lag was workable. Modules were a bit slow to activate, but I've no doubt it was the same for everyone.
Serious props to all the JQA guys. No smack from either side. Afterwards, both sides just realised the magnitude of what they had been involved in and both sides just seemed to try to outdo each other in congratulating the other side.

Man that was totaly amazing!!!
I probably lost like 2 pounds of body weight sweating like a pig battling with JQA and CCP. The lag was horrendous, weapons having delay of 20 seconds, ships not warping or getting targeted...
But I must say that there has never been such a battle on the CA/SA/Xetic front. JQA had amazing EW and I had a feeling they put on dampners on every single ship they put out in the field. They were docking back at the station getting new ships, warping back in... sheesh I though I was going to be fighting this the whole night.

i would like to thank supremacy, R-K, VOTF and to some extent ASS (ass needed to loose the smack in local hint:Djag....) but none the less it was still an incredible battle. i logged on about 10:50pm, which was about 2 hours into the battle, our TS sever was the fullest i've ever seen it, yet everyone seemed reasonably calm, probably as JQA is used to more sort of quicker combat etc, with lots of intell coming in as opposed to fleet engagements. Despite this, and despite JQA taking, what must have been heavy losses, we put up one hell of a fight for a "carebear" alliance, which some thought would be easy to overturn.
We are going to be here til the last cruise missile, til the last frigate has popped, then we will come back to harrass you guys, if you do manage to defeat us. alot of people in jqa have a 'never say die' attitude, and i think this was shown today.
we have massive respect for you guys, your reputation is as huge as the battle i just have just partaken in, and you guys lived up to every last bit of it. Incredible fight. there is little way to put it into words. i just hope someone has a huge massive hard-drive and frapsed it all.

You kinda slowed down our traffic in the area for a while though nobody really wants to go near the biggest blob in EVE
You *edit* ex-CA guys should look up the channel "LSPUB" when u are online next, its the lower syndicate "smack free" chat channel hosted by DNA. You can use it to chat to JQA/3rdFA members, who hang out in there, about the fight or whatever. Just dont bring no smack!

Really awesome fight guys.
I wasnt sure what i had dropped into coming from M2-CF1, but didnt take me long to catch on.
Im quite knackered just trying to keep up with wtf was going on, impressive ship destruction blob on map as well 
I hate to think how the commanders on each side are feeling.

guys and girls
, EVEN AFTER ALL MY TIME IN CA, this is the best fight i have ever been in, lasted (i think just under 4 hrs)
we did win, i must admit , but , HEY , ALL kudos to ALL JQA pilots for (THE longest , the biggest , fleet battle :etc etc) in eve ever.
They fought to almost the last man .
Never have i seen such tenacity or damn persistence.
We win the day "BUT" u guys win the the " i will defend award"
All Kudos again , it was awesome , well done

It lasted 3+ hours, and it wasnt like neither of the 2 parties had to warp out ss and re-engage, it was 3+ hours STRAIGHT at the gate, you lost ships, and got in more ships and returned to the fight, same for us,we lost ships went back and brought in more.
Just plain fun. gg guys.

This was one awesome battle. I was one of the unfortunate tackler pilots who got whacked everytime I warped into the gate. Fantastic work clearing the enemy tacklers. I got through about 10 I think, and about 6mill in clones  Still managed to tackle and watch about 10+ BS go down though.
I have been in many battles against many different alliances and corps and not one of them displayed the shear grit and determination that you did tonight. Congratulations.
Our fleet commanders had a hard job of it as well. It seemed like they were working shifts at times clocking themselves in for a hard day at the office. Hats off to them.
Lets see more battles like this one. The lag was almost bearable. What is different from this battle and other ones CCP? Why does the lag vary sooooo much?
Anyway - I gotta get some sleep. I should have logged about 3 hours ago. I'm gonna be tired tomorrow
It was well worth it though. A moment that will go down in EVE history.

Was all good, flew back to empire and picked up a claw, and collected a few more killmails

Well what can I say???
5 hours total from start to finish with a couple of retreats / re-groups on both sides, 4 hours on the battle field only ONE cup of coffee
Hats off to ya, a very good but a very very tiring fight. I can honestly say it was the best engagment I have ever been in, and no smak talk makes a hell of a difference!
Kudos goes to Supremacy for staying logged on :p

CCP Please can we have some more bandwidth or whatever to the Syndicate region. Although it was nice not to have a reboot tonight just before a battle we could do with a reduction in lag

Great battle guys. JQA is by far more used to smaller fights, so we have much to learn. And believe me, we learned alot yesterday :). As all the others, I have to hand it to you all, great battle, high-pitch action and NO smack whatsoever... Refreshing!
I went through a dom, 2 blackbirds, a ceptor and a frig during the 3 hours or so I was fighting. CTD'ed at the end and it was getting so late that I had to stop at that point. But yes, it WAS fun!
So, to get back to the start, WHAT are you guys doing here???

The days that we SUPRM were alone and preparing i have seen alot of smack from JQA and that other alliance, now we were done with preparing and did a full blow they toned down to a level you can speak of respect. I have been in a system with 60 jqa and me alone in my capsule hearing terms comming by with: Logacy and such. Some from my corp i heard complaining about this too, some have put autoreject on because they have been receiving endless gang invites, conv. etc.
Last night there was a bit of respect which there was a lack off for days, While i dont play much these days, JQA and 3RD have left an impression that isnt possitive. Im going to keep this short: Were all playing to have fun, keep it that way and the comming fights will be fun for all.

This is one of my two my main, do a check on the corp history of this char.
I dont see a reason to lie, you made the fool of yourself in local various times and you emailing my 2nd main in dutch didnt got any respect either.
If i got an email every time i lost a ship due to sweeper duty, i would have an evemailbox with 1000\'s emails... I pretty much dont give a **** what you think, feel or like... And thus i rather not see eve mails, hmmmk?

I know personally i lost 1 jaguar and 1 rifter.
At the end of the battle i think R-K had something like 60 kill mails. We lost KIAStumpy in his megathron early on in the battle due to a ctd and he relogged and warped back to the gate and straight in to thier fleet
Apart from that we lost a few frigates and i think a cruiser.
Thats the story from R-K's point of View
I think at the end of the battle we had lost 4 battleships well that was what was count on ts but people might have logged off.
Again Props to all Looking forward to tonight anyway. My flat m8's are starting to worry about me as i took a break half way through the battle and went downstairs and i was shaking lol

At the end of the battle there was well over 150 cans at the gate. Im guessing here but my count was that JQA / 3RD FRONT lost over 25+ Battleships and crap load of support craft, if JQA / 3RDFRONT can confirm how many they lost would be much aprecated(sp)
Our forces lost 4 Battleships and loads of support craft.

We are still trying to work out whe lost
I lost 3 vigils (after the 3rd I CTD'd and couldnt get back in :( )
and "the other me" lost a Domi (that was a bit stupid acctualy, I came into the battle, send it to approach the enemy fleet and I continued with my other char :P)

We've got 7 - 11 Battleship Killmails from R-K SUPRM VOTF ASS.
And as it stands now JQA did indeed lose around 20 - 25 BS.
Both numbers aren't final because we had a big part of ppl logging off before the battle ended.

Well done to everyone on all sides, I arrived about 2 hours into the battle and Wow.
In the end Lost 1 Cruiser and 2 friggys, lag was a problem but still playable (unlike most other large fleet battles???)
I'm sure there plenty more action to come.

Wow, great battle, never been in a fleet battle before, it rocks!
Lost my mega after apr 10 minutes, then rushed back, but all i could find was a close range domi, so rushed back in, screen loaded only to show me a pod :)
So back to station, found a vexor, rushed back in, screen loaded in time for me to deploy drones, then died + podded.
great fight though, i loved it, made me be 1 hour late at work though :(
Next time, attack arround 19:00 eve time please ;)

The battle started 40 of us vs 80 of them, by midway we had 50 they had 100, by the end we had 40 they had 40
In all my time in eve i've never seen anything liek it, despite the lagg it was the longest and most deadly battle in eve ever
My ferox lasted 150minuites, mangling every support craft they had, you dont even want to know how many battleships started to chase me because of it, my thorax only lasted 5minuites due to extreme lagg and them remembering my name, but my blackbird pulled through.

Last night there was a bit of respect which there was a lack off for days, While i dont play much these days, JQA and 3RD have left an impression that isnt possitive. Im going to keep this short: Were all playing to have fun, keep it that way and the comming fights will be fun for all.
And to all SUPRM: Dont lie you fecking bastards.
Just to restate:
If you have any logs with 3rd Front pilots smacktalking, send them to me. I will deal with it.
As for behavior, the ~2 days we contained Supremacy in PC9-AY, well, it wasn't exciting, but that was we chose to do. I can say straight up that in defending one's homelands, making sure the opponent has fun is not high on our list, I trust you - and everyone else would agree. So we held you as long as we could. If it's any consolidation, it's not exactly fun to spend 8 hours in a row sitting at the same gate, waiting for something to happen.
I'd hope that would explain/clarify from our side, but unless you wish to show some chat/local logs that shows 3rd Front pilots to behave inccorectly, I will assume it's a personal opinion, not a proven fact.

More enthusiasm than experience. Things could have gone badly for JQA if is wasnt for exellent leadership of our commanders. Still to many bs losses on our side compared to the enemies. I understand how some people feel the need to scew facts about ship losses, but lets keep this conflict as possible "on the table" regarding that.
This is JQAs first large fleet battle so we were a litle light on experience. Last night was a good learning experinece and will result in more competiency in the future.
2. Why are the evil invaders here?
I honesly have no idea how all theese different corps joined forces and invaded us (I didnt even imagine they could all mix well together). It would be fun to know. Id like for it to have more substance than just CounterStrike style senseless fragging, it would make the fighting more meaningfull and fun to have an Eve reason. Anyone care to elaborate?
3. Is JQA here to stay, can the peacfull miners drive off the ebil horde?

1) I would NEVER kill a kitten. Catgirls 4tw.
2) Most of the members in our corps are alts. Most of us have more than 2 accounts. I myself have 6 accounts, with 4 battleship mains, and an elite ship main (and I have more battleships/elite ships than they can all fly at the same time.) sooo.... take those numbers as inflated.
3) You guys drop far better loot than SA/XF.

Estimations is that it was 50 SUPRM& friends VS 100 JQA.
If you ever fought CA, you know that our fleets were never larger than 50-150 people. 650, god i would sign for it right away.

Lol we must have made a great impression. To make it clear on your estimates: JQA+3rd front was a gang of 65 ppl and I would guess (as our scouts counted) the oposing forces had the same amount of ppl. They had the pvp experience most of us didn't but we had the will to fight till the bitter end.
As for supremacy planning this for weeks... what's new that's why you have contacts
and ASS for motive read between the lines

i logged in just in time to warp to the fleet before my comp crashed, as the gate began the lightshow of the year. So right, i reboot, relog, wait 10-15 minutes logging in, return out of gang warping to the battle, ending up smack in the middle of well.. the fight dampening a couple of ships, then getting targted by a heck load of ships warping out, crashing again, and im still trying to log in but from what i can hear on TS.. its a.. biig.. *******.. battle :D hope ccp have their servers insured! platinum all the way

I was in first battle for 3 hours untill my zealot got pawned by 5 of your BS, but oh well 45 kill mails of you guys to my 1 loss in last few days is pretty gd.

It's nice to see how many clues the Suprm & friends have.
After I posted their numbers as a response to one members "we are just a few corporations, you are two alliances OMG" to point out that pretending to be the small guys was just not on, they respond with "you have no clue" and "I'd love to see a 650 people gang".
Now obviously when pointing out those numbers, I was not saying that they would have 100% turnout for battle. My esteemed colleges here are obviously much younger and more naive in tactical warfare to assume so. HOWEVER it does show the pool of people they are able to draw from, and it looks like much bigger than the one JQA/3FA have.
Anyone else care to continue with the "we are just corporations against big bad alliances" line from ex-CA?
Reports do indicate 3-5 hours of standing at the other side of a gate in a huge blob before a massive engagement.
Personally for me, the 3-5 hour blobs staring menacingly at each other, is old and tired. Also as shown, the servers can't handle it as has been witnessed by participants on both sides who are unable to login, nevermind activate a module.

No it is not clean tactics. However since it uses game features many say it's legal. Poor excuse for being a dork.
Good reminder though, now I can add the EX-CA corporations to my BLOCKED list (Mail settings). CA Alliance has been there for a while.
So anyone about to do battle, add your opponents to the INBOX - SETTINGS - BLOCKED list. Particularly those ex-CA there.

You can't acuse anyone of deliberately conving people anymore. If you have you charges set at 0, it just convo's you with no warning, hence I'm not ever setting mine to 0. I've accidently convo'ed loads of people whilst trying to do a show info, it's stupid. It needs a this person is not in your addressbook are you sure to replace the this will cost you prompt.

I was getting lots of convo invitations until I set it to auto reject. I don't see them as intentional as with the lagg and all I can see how easy it would be to slip to the wrong drop down choice.
However saying we were intentionally convoing the enemy to cause lagg and distraction is just flame bait.

Riddari, before you go off, please remember as several people have pointed out, that initiating a convo can easily be a mistake. I've had it happen to me in combat and the other guy has apologised for the mistake. No bigge, it happens. After that i used block invites to prevent accidents. Personally, I've once accidentily initiated a convo spawn when the target was lagged out, not gonna say how obviously, but it goes to show that it isn't always a "tactic used by dorks".
Anyways, as you say yourself, it's an easy thing to avoid, however, it's better done (imho) by using block invites on the Esc menu once you're ganged. I personally don't block lots of folks as i like to chat with em if possible, in a friendly manner, after fights and so on without using local.

So maybe you guys should compile a list on your internal forums and anyones name who comes up repeatdly, name and shame em on here. Also let the CEO know.
I know that we don't have the issue anymore of convo starting as we noticed it was prolific in the first few days intentional or not so all of us have auto reject on. Causes some arguements on TS about gang invites I can tell you!

Let's say you live in Syndicate space and JQA/3FA are your neighbors. And then these Ebil people who you REALLY don't want in your neighborhood show up. How do you go about helping out. Should I just get into a Rupture and head over there looking for this new Ebil Empire or is there anyway i can join up without leaving my corp. I miss the old days when all I had to worry about was the local Teddybear gank squad. I didn't know when i had it good.

Look, people..
We are not CA.
We are rapidly becoming a new entity.
To refer to us as "pirates" is dismissive and uninformed.
We came to JQA to have fun, and we have done that.
I believe JQA did to. Fun is a valid motivator, conquering isnt the only reason to fight in Eve.
We have no intention of 'taking over' the syndicate region. Never did.
It is a nice region, dont get me wrong, tactically and resource wise- it's very nice. However so are many other places in the galaxy. We have completed this team building exercise and it has turned out swimmingly.
The fact of the matter is, the fun is now escalating to multiple alliances getting involved. Politics is getting involved which is precisely what we dont want.
We've seen more than our fair share of politics being in CA.
Now is the time for alliances like xetic to start thinking about whether they want more enemies or less.
We are not CA. Decisions made by the CA council, or from CA itself do not map over to us. Bringing bad prior political disagreements over to our new entity would be a mistake.
If we're going to pay for decisions made by other people that we happened to defend for the rest of our lives in Eve, we will, but it's not our intention to keep fighting te same foes over and over again atm.
I'd ask that on both sides- that we have fun, and leave the past in the past.
Fun is what we pay for.
I encourage all parties involved to move on.

We are not judging Spurm by anything that CA said or did.
But we will and cannot stand by and watch anybody, whether a corp or alliance or whatever attack friends of ours without at least offering to help them.
As far as Xetic is concerned Spurm, VOTF, and any other corps leaving CA are neutral.
And for us friends are a lot more valuable than neutrals.
We are and will continue to judge you and set our standings toward you by the actions you yourself do, if you go around attacking friends of ours, whether its fun for you or not does not interest us, will we continue to help our friends and defend ourselves as well.

With the recent occurances in Syndicate and Outer Ring I found some quite ironic statements in the following post that I'd thought I'd share. (P.S. This thread does not relate to the incidents in VV-VCR Yesterday.)

I first thought that they would have no reason to take over our constellation, despite being told so by my friends. I don't know if this is a new development, or whether Supremacy & co are seriously considering settling down in lower Syndicate.
What I do know is that it is nearly impossible to root out an alliance that is mostly based off NPC stations in a small area, so perhaps they are just trying to get more fights.
Frankly, I wonder why they aren't attacking BoB or other corps that are 100% PvP in stead, if that is the case.

Personally, I can't log onto EVE now, and probably not until this summer.
However, I must say that statement crystallizes the differences between us. There is indeed a right and a wrong. And we can indeed win the moral high ground.

Your alliance has enjoyed the fruits of the area you have claimed. You've gotten very rich from it.
Now, a force comes along and asks to share it with you. You say no, and blob up to defend it- but post publicly about how wrong we are for threatening you and trying to take it away from you.
What is wrong, is that you think you actually own it.
It's space in 0.0. If joe noob in Yulai decides he wants to go mine dark ochre in 0.0- he can come to your region and mine. The only thing that stops him- is your willingness to kill to defend it.
In this context- it makes you and your alliance a pirate entity- you'd kill an innocent to defend something that you claim as your own.
Greed- is what seperates JQA and us.
You are unwilling to share. We were, but are no longer- not due to ore, but simply because you ****ed us off through your actions and disrespect.
