At the end of the day, they lost more ships than I did, and probably wont gank me again. Again, its an easy solution for the smarter people.

This method is not full proof and you may need to tweak your posts here and there to insert misspelling, fix lasses into coherency or insert safe security space jokes.

I'm a miner and missioner, a jack of all trades and I have fun hauling things and mining. No joke, which will have some pvpers gasping. But buddy, this is not my real life, not even close, and you really need to calm down and take the game as it is or play something else. Yes, we all spend our time and money here. That includes the gankers, pirates, prats, etc. (convo me for my definitions if you like). I don't like what they do, but I can't deny their right to do it so long as they take the "penalties" from concord. A friend of mine left the game due to shooting being the only effective option at times, but her retreat was better reasoned -- she never thought pirates should be banned, just that the game didn't have enough options for her to play with. So if she could view it as a challenge, why can't you? I've never been fond of shooting other players, but there are other ways to stay safer. Oh, that friend of mine? Shes the one who taught me that there is no safe place in EVE, and that the game gives you no instructions on how to play it beyond the mechanics. What you make of it is up to you. And so far, you've made your experiences amusing to many folks. Our thanks to you! In all the Universe, is there anything like a child's laugh?

Here's your dead giveaway right here. Anybody with any sense and any knowledge of this game knows that it was and still is a PvP-centric game. There are lots of other aspects to it, granted...but PvP was always supposed to be the main goal. To that end, nowhere is safe! Secure space is like real-life. The police only exist to come draw a chalk-line around you after you are dead. It is up to you to arm and protect yourself. Always. Enjoy. TL/DR: This game is **y. I've been playing since beta2 (over 7 years), and only been ganked once. Honestly I deserved it, was doing something stupid and got caught. If you've lost 9 ships in 2 months, and your not involved in PVP, then you need to pack it up and go someplace else. Eve, is, was, and always will be geared to PVP. That was one of the original specifications. When it came out, it was one of the only true PVP MMO, and there's still damn few that have PVP built in, and not slapped on haphazardly. Repeat after me: There is no safe space, only "somewhat" safer. You have no "rightful" game. You play the game as CCP made it. CCP made it to include PVP, anytime, anywhere. Don't like it, leave.
