Hi there, Nearly 24 hours ago, I passed a vote to declare war on a 25-man corp. Several days before, I had successfully gotten my alt into it, so that I could see who was online, and let my main use a locator agent, 10 jumps away from their HQ. (closest I could get) to hunt them down.
'My' corp is just me & my rl buddy trying to get some fun out of highsec- baiting mission runners can be tedious most of the time :(
Knowing that the enemy corp are made of nearly all newbish mission runners & miners, we decided to bring along a battleship for each of us, a pair of recon ships, a few stealth bombers, an inty or two, and some battlecruisers, so whenever my alt knew what they were in, we could respond by fitting to be anti-them.
Some of the ships have probes so we can hunt down the mission runners.
I sent a few minutes ago, from my main to their CEO, demanding 250 mil to end the war, before it had even begun.
This is the first time I have wardecced anyone, so I must ask all veteran wardeccers- what else can I do to gain as much as an unfair advantage over them/kill as many of them as possible?
Thank you in advance,
My alt
(Haters gonna hate)

Edited by: Amy Darkfire on 20/10/2010 06:41:30 if your alt is still in their corp (and if they didn't kick him/her after the Dec went through then you are indeed dealing with the inexperienced) step up to the plate and offer to FC their gangs or at the very least join their gangs and get in on their voice chat. assuming you have gone over their kill board to see what pvp ships they fly, what Mods they fit, and what times they are active?

Well, in my experience, you'll probably find that you'll spend a fair amount of time wishing you could bribe Scotty into forcing them and their ships out of station and locking the docking bay doors behind them.
That said, I would avoid station camping like the plague, if you are seen in system it is unlikely they will undock at all. Instead try to make yourselves scarce for long periods of times until they get brave enough to resume normal activities. Monitor their movements with your alt (assuming this thread hasn't blown his cover) and then hit & run with surprise attacks.
If it's just the 2 of you in your corp they will probably stay docked until they have a few people online and then only come out of station in a big enough fleet that they think you won't attack. So have a book at hand or something to amuse you during the long tedious waits while they stay docked and your tactics planned for how to deal with a 6-8 man fleet.

And apparently no balls either. If you want to learn how to pew pew, go into lowsec or something. You'll spend more time playing a docking game than had you gotten into lowsec and learned a few things about pvp.

Hi
I'm an alt pointing out an alt saying to not post with an alt
edit for content: Do they mission in next doors systems? Would you consider camping the other side of an outgoing gate to nab them?

Edited by: Herrring on 21/10/2010 01:32:57 I recommend you keep your character logged on 23/7 at/near their home station with a variety of ships.
Preferably you will have access to a locator agent nearby, if not use a locator with an alt and see where they operate for the first few days. You pretty much want to use the locator agent every CD. Do not engage if they have a roaming fleet, stay docked and just wait.
After a few days, unless their CEO rules with an iron fist, some of them will start sneaking out to do missions and mining and such because you havent done anything since the war dec they will be like "WTF they are too scared to come out i might as well do missions and make money".
Now since you have information about where they usually operate, pick them off one by one, but only mission ships and mining barges.
AFter a month or two people will start leaving corp but do not retract the wardec, you have to keep it wardecced for another couple months or they will simply come back after the war.
This IMO is the most effective tactic agains a larger carebear corp, and its really boring, but when you land a paladin kill or two the tears make up for all the wait.

I have an idea, wanna hear it? I think it's pretty cool.
STFU and let people play however they want? -------- Enemy corps raided into disbandment: Three.

Edited by: jaja bling on 21/10/2010 04:22:33 My Tips:
Don't turn up in mass. Its better to play rock paper scissors with war targets. Use an out of corp covert ops. A tackler and a DPS.
Don't turn up with a small fleet. Let your members stay anonymous for as long as possible.
Scan ship fittings. Establish bases of operations. Stick a ship or two nearby. When they go to mission, take a inty ride over to where your ships are, jump in kill them, leave in your inties.
Attack and podkill your alt at some stage. It looks good.
Try an insured WCS battleship fitting with smartbombs when your camped in. Fly to a moon at around 70km to avoid neutral containers n stuff, explodate and pod the tacklers that follow, dock and take off in a frigate.
Have undock bookmarks at stations. Don't let them camp you in. Undock in a cheap frig with wcs and leave if that happens.
Its better to dec alliances then to dec corps. More targets. Usually less communication.
Probably the main thing is always attack them, don't let them attack you, know what they're flying and change what your flying regularly.
Go to EVE Agents website. Select your best corporation or faction, and do a search on all L3 and L4 agents with Locator option selected. Copy the stations that come up into your people and places station search and add each station as a bookmark. You'll probably end up with a locator agent in range of a few jump no matter where you are.
When you do a search with a locator, put each person into the locator one after the other, the agent will tell you how much it'll cost to track them down, the lower the cost the closer they are, this is instant rather then delayed like a full location search. If you end up with a lot of people with very low locator costs your probably being hunted by a fleet or there is an op nearby. You can also use it for selecting the closest target to you.
My most important things are don't smack talk them, don't let them kill you, don't let them camp you in, don't fly around in your combat ships but position those ships beforehand and then inty around instead, don't let them camp you in, don't let them do anything that makes them feel anything but prey.
