[37] I used the following: High: 4 Medium Pulse II Med: Cap recharger I Stasis web (named) Low: 1-2 RCU I Co-Processor II Armor Repair (named) The medium pulses require a lot of power, but with this fit I took out a 500k bs and 4 110k wingmen. ![]() |

[39] Wow No wonder I have no problems killing Crusader pilots with my Crusader. I won't post my setup because, well if I did I wouldn't have so much ease killing everyone. But people need to stop trying to fit such crazy stuff onto Amarrian ships and think like an Amarr truely would. You'd then find your AMarr ship would perform alot better and even take down Taranises. Jakob Remierat Oblivion Amalgamated Public Relations Nightmare |

[41] Support role setup for crusaders. In PvP the most effective way to hunt (go on the offensive) is in small organized and fast moving groups. In response to this I present a general use support setup for a crusader, not good on 1v1 for reasons I'll explain later... 4x Dual Light Pulse Laser IIs 1x AfterburnerII 1X warp disruptor 1x Small armor repairerII 1x Energized adaptive nanoII 1x standard plating 1x cap power relay First of all the Dual light pulse lasers are cheap on fitting so it gives you room for a tank which is important against missles. The afterburner doesn't take much cap and still gets you faster than most cruisers and battleships BUT other inty pilots will be a bother. ALSO this does NOT effect durability negatively... If ANYTHING it's good because that 500% sig radius bonus with a microwarp really cuts down an enemy's lock time it also makes an inty about as easy to hit (when active) as an afterburning inty. The second midslot is variable depending on your fellow gang pilots. Consider your enemy also, if they commonly fit lots of warp stabs you might want to put a scrambler on. If you want to go for faster tackletime you're going to need a disruptor. Use a web only when you'll be around gates and stations alot and no one else can fit it. And at last the tank. This is hard to fit but very important. Remember that on this setup, one volley of cruise missles will innihilate you without it. You won't be fast enough after the next patch to outrun them anyway so this is highly suggested, though they won't do as much damage supposedly. However you fit your tank, don't fit more than one cap relay. You're not going to have time to repair much in battle, and like I said it's not a 1v1 setup. If you do get hit it would be best to warp away and come back to the target. Especially if it's a bigger ship. With this in mind is where the armor repairer comes in handy. When you enter warp on a retreat hit that sucker and by the time you come back to the action you're ready to go again. This is not a good sig. |

[47] Sorry for stating the obvious, but is there a reason why no one mentioned T2 crystals? I'll be getting a Crusader in about a month(ish) I'm still shopping for setups but it suprises me that now one has said anything about T2 ammo.... |

It's an old thread but try something along these lines, works wonders for me and has decent speed (6.5k iirc): 4x Dual Light Beam II 1x Catalyzed MWD (Easier on cap than T2) 1x Fleeting Warp Scrambler (Least cap usage on disruptors) 1x CPR II 1x OD II 1x Nano II 1x Heat Sink II Not 100% sure about the lows but I believe they were like that. |

[49] Hey all. just thought i'd post my two cents. I have been flying a Crusader for awhile and have been messing with setups. The best thing for PVE I've found is this. I've been taking down NPC battleships with this setup and it works extremely well! HISLOT 4x Dual Light Pulse Laser II MEDSLOT 1x 1MN Afterburner II 1x Eutectic Cap Recharger LOSLOT 1x Small Armor Repair II 1x Cap Recharger I 2x Heat Sink II I think that most of this setup is helped by the skills I have trained, however. So, if you want it to work, get those gunnery skills up and running!! |
