Ever had that feeling?
ever saw a module that you really wanted to have?
BUT...you didnt have the money!
i think this would be a good idea where players could loan some money.
either from an NPC bank or a total new profession in eve for players to run a bank.
you loan money lets say 100mill.
offcourse you would have to pay a fee lets say 10%.
at the end of the contract you would be returning 110mill to the rightfull owner in a timespan that has been chosen or has been agreed on.
if the player doesnt pay the money back in that timespan,the person who lend you would be able to send you a warning wich would add another 5% to the complete budget that the player loaned from you.
if he still doesnt pay the owner of the money would be able to go your station and just pick anything out of your hangar untill the right ammount of money has been returned.
or anoter idea is e would be able to kill you wenever or werever e sees you witout sec loss of interference from concord.

and the Anti-Alternative character exploit?
create a alternative, lend money, transfer money, delete character

Whats to stop someone taking a couple BS from you over a 10mill loan?
Whats to stop someone creating an alt, taking out a 100mill loan and sending it to another character, never paying back the loan?
The idea of a loan is good, I like it and itd definitely come in handy... I just can't see it working very well the way EVE is at the moment.

could be done through npc's and that you can't delete the character cause it has outstanding loans that need to be paid in full before the termination

CCP is currently developing a contraqct system in Eve so players can do what you are asking (ie. i can lend money to someone else).
This is a very difficult thing to do and i am sure if you got any suggestions to stop any possible exploitations then he devs would be happy to hear from you in this forum (ie. ISD will direct it if it appears important).
I roleplay... there is this computer game called "Earth - The First Genesis" where i play a character in the early 21st century. |
