37 accounts. 6 planets. Assume 20 installations per planet. 12 are extractors.
Your mission: Keep them all going at 15 minute cycles whilst hauling everything that comes in.

You should see the message when you open up 666 clients!
Also, try playing the single "Chicago" backwards, you get the same effect!

Originally by: CCP Explorer There is no such limit. We normally run 200-250 clients per blade in our thin client tests and have maxed out at 300 clients per machine. Here's some thin client art.
We're guessing that D3D is running out of resources. But why don't you post the details of the error? Saying that "the client returns an odd error" gives us little to work with...
Thin client is something else and as stated it won't be released to the public (and I don't think It will have much use). After 37 instances (some of them just stay in station, others in planet mode, others flying in space) it will either return a don't send error (with different data every time), refuse to start another one, start another one but just as a process.
Did a test and I am able to run all the 37 + a few sisi instances... but will try to run all with log open.
Quote: I'm trying to figure out why you would want 37 clients to begin with. If you're paying RL money, that's like 500-600 bucks a month. If you've got that, just Plex it for crying out loud.
A few accounts pay for the others :)
Quote: lol overpriced rebranded ****.
I gave up here.
Not when you have fast stuff in it.
Quote: Are we talking about 37 properly running instances of eve each of which are logged in to the server with a character and doing something like idly flying around space ?
or
Just have the exefile.exe opened 37 times at the account login page minimized to tray?
As I said above, theyre all doing stuff. There are no accounts "just logged in" for the sake of it. Some do market stuff, some haul PI and other stuff.
Quote: What are doing with such amount of accounts?
lots of stuff :)

Your IQ is prolly only around 80 if you can only count to 200.
So you probably have an alienware with windows also.

Why 37 when you can run 60+, eh?
By the way OP, you're the one driving up PLEX and GTC prices, prepare for Jihad!
I run five clients on my 955 @ 3.7. I can only imagine you run yours at the lost settings with uber low FPS, as your video card starts running out of VRAM and your RAM just can't handle it.

That would be a lot of Alt-Tabbing. Wow. $555 per month, or a lot of PLEXes.
