Cannot open more than 37 Eve instances :( it won't let me. It's not system related, the client returns an odd error. Did double checks, 37 is max.

It is strange indeed. Not 63 or something else but 37. And no, the characters don't fly :)

Normally the limit is 32 clients, however since you have an Alienware pc it should be limited at 48 clients thanks to the speed boost the cool stripes gives your rig. If you're only getting 37 then petition CCP, it's obviously an bug on their side.

At once?! Why would you ever need 37 clients at once. The only possible need for 37 accounts that I can see is some kind of character farming, but that doesn't need all of the accounts to be open at once.

Yes, it is system related.
Learn to keep an eye on your USER/GDI objects, handle and thread counts. Try increase your desktop heap allocation in the windows Session Manager registry tree if other programs have issues opening properly once you can't open any more eve clients.
Check what the max clients you can open on lowest graphics cache, and again on max. If this is different, then it is system related.
Open your 37 eve instances, then try start another 3D game or intensive applications, see if they fail to open. You may also want to actually tell us what this "odd error" actually is, else we're just theory-crafting on your misinformation here

There is no such limit. We normally run 200-250 clients per blade in our thin client tests and have maxed out at 300 clients per machine. Here's some thin client art.

Thin client is something else and as stated it won't be released to the public (and I don't think It will have much use). After 37 instances (some of them just stay in station, others in planet mode, others flying in space) it will either return a don't send error (with different data every time), refuse to start another one, start another one but just as a process.
Did a test and I am able to run all the 37 + a few sisi instances... but will try to run all with log open.

As I said above, theyre all doing stuff. There are no accounts "just logged in" for the sake of it. Some do market stuff, some haul PI and other stuff.
