Hello C&P. Renowned attention seeker and ship toaster Larkonis Trassler here.
Throughout my Eve career I've seen many things. Things you wouldn't believe, attack ships on fire off... wait, never mind. Anyway. Last night I spied on my scout and later killed, of all things would you believe it, a Navitas jetcan mining into a Bestower in lowsec. These weren't noobs either, from what I recall the Navitas pilot was around six months old, at an age where he should probably know better.
Anyway, I couldn't quite rationalise it. So C&P have you come across anything recently which has made you crosseyed with confusion?

Probably the dude in a wormhole who decided it would be a good plan to warp his orca to each moon in turn at 0 to scout a place to drop his new POS. At least that's the story he gave me, I just had to convo him after the gank and ask wtf he was thinking.
Also saw a carrier camping a wormhole to highsec once. He lost it.

I saw this a few days ago in Dodixie. I could hear the mighty beast weep from AU's away, sobbing and crying, begging me to put it out of it's misery. Sadly I was unable to help the poor thing, but the lord knows I tried!

While waiting for a potentially warp-stabbed WT to undock in Hek just yestersday (yes, those are 2 scrams you see. Ugh) I noticed a Machariel flitting around Boundless and bumping its oafish self into everyone. I have a habit of visually ID'ing guns on ships so I zoomed in to see if it was AC or arty fit, T1 or T2.
What I got instead was a surprise, because all I saw were these little nubs where the turrets are supposed to be. Yes, those are T1 medium autocannons. I was so overwhelmed with a bout of cognitive dissonance that I almost missed my WT undocking.

Oddest thing I've seen lately? Some guy named Larkonis trying to use a Battle Hummel in WoT.
But back on topic, I've actually seen the OPs scenario myself before. Was roaming around Placid in a Crow, and came across a random frigate mining away in a lowsec asteroid belt. Killed it, then while I was sitting in the belt scratching my head and wondering why he was there, someone in a T1 hauler warps in to the belt next to me. So of course, I killed that as well. ended up getting some 'fanmail' from the pilot, who shortly afterward decided to try and recover their lost loot in their rookie ship. Popped and podded them yet again, and got even more fanmail from them for it. By this point they were raging pretty hard, so I decided to call it a day and move on. I think I still have the mails somewhere in my inbox.

I've seen n000bs in Low Sec in poorly fit PVE ships but the weirdest I've seen was maybe seeing a Moa of all things can mining in Airaken.
I've also see a gate camp with battleships, Strat Cruisers, and Battle cruisers which would have been scary...except they were camping the high sec end of a gate to Low Sec.

Once undocked in a pvp drake in lowsec, coveter undocked at the same time. Coveter warped off to the top belt. I warped to the top belt. I'm the only one who came back.
tl;dr, I killed an untanked coveter in a drake IRSOSOOPAR! I like me

It was getting pretty late, and I was actually starting to feel a little sorry for them. I mean they did just get their ship and pod destroyed half a dozen times in the span of about 15 minutes.

I was watching a random, typical wh pos with an indy sitting next to with my covops alt. And seeing the whole thing suddenly offlining, ships being spilled out, a carrier from the same corp warping in from their other pos and killing the indy. That was my greatest "WTF IS GOIN ON HERE?!" moment. If I hadn't been so baffled our gang could have been there 5 seconds earlier to tackle the carrier before it warped off :_:

Weirdest thing I saw recently was, of all things, A Nxy BP in a rookieship. I was scanning with hopes of suiciding something juicy when I saw it: Nyx Bp on the cargo scanner. I looked again, Yes there it was NYX BP. What the??? I look at the name of the ship on ship scanner, yep: So and so's Noobship. I look again at cargo scan, Yep So and So's cargo.
Wow. For about 10 seconds I just stare at one window and the next. Then it dawns on me to tell the shooters: OMG OMG OMG Nxy BP ******* NYX BP!!! Target So and so!!! He IS IN A ******* ROOKIESHIP!!
Now, since I am known foremost as a non-stop troll, the shooters immediately call "Troll!" **** YOU GUYS I SWEAR. Silence....... You best not be lying D3 or else! I SWEAR I SWEAR!!! KILL THE ******
Silence....THERE HE IS!!! GET HIM.....*POP* I arrive st the wreck to see the blue square of a BP icon just disappear. NOOOOO counterscooped? NOOO.... Then over comms: I GOT IT! Check the brick killboard for kill number: 56276 API Verified. This kill was written up in C&P few weeks ago. What the **** was this guy thinking?
The best was about 30 seconds later from the victim in local: "It was only a copy so **** you" He was right though-"just" a copy. Lols 3.5 Bn isk later I am still laughing about it. http://killboard.brick-squad.com/?a=home

We took down some guys POS the other day. after coming out of reinforced made and with little shields left, it was quite amusing seeing him try to anchor batteries from inside the safety of his pos; only to have one of our guys warp to and scoop it... luckily our guys are very well mannered and didnt forget the thank him for his free gifts

A few days ago i was scouting our chain of wh's for a new shiny faction bs a corpie was bringing home. When i arrived at the wh into home i saw an obelisk who proceeded to jump, knowing full well there was a nice big bubble there i jumped too looking for a nice bump.
The bump failed and he jumped back, i think he was trying to close the wh to our home, i followed him and pointed him and bumped it off the wh, a falcon appeared and jammed but i was already humping the obelisk's nose, corpies show up and pop the falcon. Now just as the obelisk hits half armour with a navy domi and 2 cloki's pounding him, he ejects and abandons the obelisk right there on our wh.
We managed to stop shooting just as it hit about 25% hull. The funniest part was waiting for our obelisk pilot to slow boat through a L t2 bubble, man that was an agonising wait. As we jumped the gang through into home, the obelisk jumps last and closes the wh behind us.
The obelisk is now our new bait

Playing sov games with a BYRN station durring their casscade, they destroyed our first pos with the help of 200 ATLAS carriers. Once it was dead, the carriers warped to one of their pos' and a small 40-50 man BYRN fleet baby sat the moon while they got a hualer with the new tower. This took far too long, so long infact we were able to drop a second small tower and online it using a cloaky hualer, which survived and managed to escape.
I would have dearly loved to hear on Atlas comms when the BYRN fc had to go to bobby and say ' err sorry to bother you but can you kill another tower please?'.
Watching the tower be deployed and the hauler escape under fire from 50 sub caps was the funniest thing ive seen.

I think he also refused logi support from me once in a different 1v1. Again, "DUDE WTF!".
And he honors ransoms and is kind to noobs and doesnt try and smacktalk anyone he kills until they cry! He says "GF" instead! And he means it

Someone fly an Ibis in a 0.0 'move in' freighter escort fleet.
Err... That was me. I wanted make a jump clone. I wish I could say it was because of implants. But not. I was just a noob. I can only imagine what the frieghter pilot (who was a freelancer contracted for a one time move; i.e. not part of our alliance) thought when he saw me. We're probably lucky he didn't just bail and run off with all our stuff.
