Welcome to a game that actually has meaningful consequences and loss. The fear of risking what you have and the joy of victory within your grasp.

This, my first fight, barely made it, wife looked over and asked "are you alright dear?" as I was huffing and had a death grip on the desk with the biggest smile on my face. Best 1 minute EVER! |

Adrenaline
It's pretty normal actually.
If it persists a while after you're done, and you feel tired and confused, it's Anxiety.

That really gets the adrenaline going. That happened. Oddly it corresponded with me warping to some celestial because welp might as well save (empty) pod.

Pvp more often and you dull that rush. All the better you get over it.
Now, if it burns when you pee vee pee, that certainly is a bad sign.
If however you suffer an erection lasting over four hours, do what I did. Call every single women you know in a 10 mile radius! ---- CONCORD arrested two n00bs yesterday, one was drinking battery acid, the other was eating fireworks. They charged one and let the other one off. |

That's what you're paying the $15/mo for. Malcanis' Law: Any proposal justified on the basis that "it will benefit new players" is invariably to the greater advantage of older, richer players.

I don't get this. We all know that we respawn at station if we die. Would be better if character actually dies instead of WoW like respawn. |

adrenaline does nothing useful for you in EVE - your body doesn't have a use for the energy surge and your mind has to keep track of a lot of different things at the same time, calm decision-making and good situational awareness are extremely important in EVE pvp and adrenaline only gets you hyped up and overly focused in a bad "tunnel vision"-style way.
Maybe you will have overheated all your guns to the max and experienced the "most epic fight evar" before going down in an adrenaline fueled battle - but at the same time you will have forgotten to use your drones, taken unnecessary damage due to not paying enough attention to transversal and completely missed the one opportunity to disengage safely when it became obvious that you didn't stand a chance.
Try to be more bored and you will perform better (losing a lot of ships does wonders for that). |

Depending on price of your ship and implants. Probably you should try something cheaper until you'll get used to PvP.
Also you might want to create an alt with zero skills and fly around null/low to create initial EVE PvP adrenaline rush immunity. |

Also you better start PvPing a lot now. Do not wait till your character is older and start. CCP rewards its older and loyal players by taking a rusty, spiked mace and shove it repeatedly up your butt as a way to say 'Thank You'. Specifically the clone upgrade cost. |

Or roll a basic-standard frig/destroyer combat accnt alt for FW. Good time to do it with the changes coming.

No its not normal, you are either too immature to control yourself while playing a video game or you need medical assistance.

PS. fight was not consensual on my part, something that should never ever leave this game.
Hehehe. Not a fight but years ago during a goon "jihad" I was mining alone in a high sec pocket between 2 low sec pockets I suddenly had a Brutix on my badly tanked Hulk, overloaded what ever I had on the Hulk and came out in 1 piece. Adreline made me feel I could kick over a building.
Indeed that should never leave the game.
