Poor little guys....
It may not be your department and you may not be involved, but just a heads up:
When there's a thread with a bunch of people asking a question that only a dev can answer, and then a dev enters the thread and comments on a completely unrelated subject whilst apparently ignoring the question being asked?
Kind of irritating. -------------------------------------------------- Learning skills are an ultimatum, not a choice. |

So thats as transparent as it gets. 'We've hotfixed it'.

Same here ^^
For those who blabber about "the patch to the patching of the patched patch"... bear in mind that you mistake server patches and client patches. Moreover, a fix doesn't have to be a patch, it can be some tidying up a data base.
If you want an explanation at what's going on... well, have a guess.
If it's got anything at all to do with ongoing large fleet engagements, I'd suspect it's related to the server not handling too well whole-system-to-new-node-where-it-will-be-alone reaffectation stuff, as mentionned in some dev blog recently.
Why not, he? ;)

Kind of irritating.
Leave poor Zym alone as he has no access to the info you want. The odd's are good he isn't even in iceland and moderates from his home or something.
So when a an actual dev does the same then you can be irritated.

Edited by: Amadayo dela''Achura on 12/11/2010 17:41:30 CCP finally outsourced their Development to Blizzard 4 patches and 6 hotfixes ago. They are now moving the hosting to Blizz and this downtime was to set up the DNS correctly.

hmmmm, it is disturbing how CCP and Microsoft seem to operate in the same parallel of; "throw it out there before its correct" mentality. They also seem to like Microsoft's idea of inconviencing the paying customer with constant "upgrades", "patches" and of course; "downtime". Gee, heres a novel thought, how about fixing it right the first time, or better yet, on your time/dime?....i'm just sayin'......

If that's such the case, what would you think of someone willing to pay to do that? Yeah, I kind of think the same about your post.

That so called hotfix reset a nerly finished mission and removed all the wrecks . After shoting the remaining ships which were still there from before the fix, I got the initial spawn:(
