Yesterday I (lazy) mined a big chunk of Arkanor from a mag site in our wh while camping the static with my main looking for stuff to pew pew .... came up with 120mil for the effort. that was 3 or 4h being extremely lazy! I could have been running some sleeper site with my main, which at my slow pace would bring me to 300 or 400mil for that time... but I was watching a movie (saw 2 actually) and kicking back.
Isk is easy to make if you're willing to use your brain!

I havnt paid to play eve in about 2 years on 2 accounts....
All i do is solo lvl 4s, buy +5 implants with LP,and claim faction bpc's off cosmos agents

Very rough numbers, it varies from time to time a littlebit.
400 Million with PI, 5 planets in 0.0
1-1.5 Billion with ratting (0.0 anoms, 1h a day during my morning coffee, semi afk while reading the news sites/fora.
1-4billion (varies a lot) with Alt research corp/business.
250-1b with trading on average. If I can be bothered and have some free isk, I can poke with speculation and pretty much double my isk at a time.
This is all per month btw.
Though I do have 4 accounts which means every month upwards 1.6B worth of plex. Then there's losing PVP ships once and a while too!
*edit, clarified this is on a monthly basis.

Right now I have 2 characters that make enough PI for 2 large towers and enough extra to almost cover a PLEX. In a few days, I'll have 2 more characters doing it as well.
Takes me less than 15 minutes per day now, so it will be around 30 mins a day for fuel for 2 towers and around 900 mil or so profit per month.
edit: That comes out to around 60 mil per hour of actual gametime spent on PI per month, so it's comparable to L4 missions. Plus you have the added benefit of not having to undock except maybe once a week to move products between planets or to a hub to sell.
I'm willing to give myself away as a slave for all eternity in exchange for the details on how to do that. I tried PI as well but I don't reach those highs by far.
So please, please, can I get details either here or by EVE mail?
I'm guessing it's nulsec PI, which usually requires some prerequisite conditions to be as easy as it is in hisec, thus commensurately greater rewards.

Corporation asset reallocation. I usually cash in on one alt every six months. Total profit is equal too ((Value of Assets stolen) + (Value of character)) - ((Plex Cost)x(Number of months in corp))
It's really quite easy to make billions with this method.

I too am looking to get into playing with Plex. I have always paid and have been in and out of the game becuase of RL money issues. I have a 13M SP chracter who is a miner, but recently I been running lvl 4 missions, I prob made 25M in last few days running missions. I tried going null sec when my corp was war decced and it did not turn out well.
Trading has always appealed to me, I have an Itty 4, I am told by in game players that a good way to get into trading is to trade Mineral mex. I am currently on 5 day back to eve promotion but will pay the reduced price 60 day sub, so would prob wanna be getting plexs by time that runs out.
I also wanna try PI, can it be profitable in high sec tho, or would I need to get into Null. I did try providence ratting once, providence not as safe as it used to be ay! All good fun tho, I only took Cats with ratting fits (prob 8M fit), made a loss overall. (Lost like 5 cats,)
