Sound Effects in Space / Eve Online
If CCPÆs goal is to make our online experience realistic, why do they have external sounds? More specifically, sound cannot travel across empty space, so why do they have it?
CCP Zymurgist, does this fall within the constraints of, ôGeneral Discussionö?

Physics has nothing to do with computer simulation of the space surrounding your vessel.
If you want to realistically imagine yourself into the POD, fill your baththub dive into it and switch off the light.
You are not located in space outside your ship, YOU ARE your ship, when you in a pod. Your brain sensor network is directly connected to your ship's sensor network. Some of the ship's readings perceived by your brain as "sounds". That's all.
TL;DR: STFU+GTFO.
Is it possible for you retreads (yes, I meant to say retreads) to communicate without using a bunch of acronyms???
