They are worth it. It should be monthly instead of 4/year.

worth every penny, IMO. I was leery about buying the first issue but moved to a subscription almost immediately and haven't missed an issue since. .

I am in the lucky position of working for the magazine and I must say there is never a dull moment when it comes to production.
A lot of research goes into every episode to make sure it's a great read and informative. Well worth it in my opinion.
EON is going digital early next year and check the store for any promotions!

I thought so when I used to buy it. I stopped for a (long) while and now the cheapest option to catch up is to buy the complete set bundle thing and end up with 6 duplicate issues. I'll probably get it, because eventually EVE will go away and it'll be nice to have something tangible to remember it by. -

It's going didital aswell, the physical magazine will still exist. I would imagine by the time issue 23 is published it should be completed.

I had been interested in the magazine for a long time, so I finally just ordered the 'All Issues' bundle ... even though it doesn't include Issue 014. They are discounted quite nicely and with shipping only cost a little over half of what they would cost if bought separately. Hell, they're even cheaper than the subscriber price. Hopefully I'll be receiving them sometime this week. ----- Ambush. Hit and run. Gank before tank. Speed is life. |

I subbed for a year. It's definitely a high-quality production physically. However, as noted above, it becomes out-dated quite quickly (sometimes by the time it hits your door.) I have no doubt that the publisher tries hard, but in the digital age, hardcopy is too slow.
Perhaps with digital publication, things will pick up? Well, as I said above, the biggest thing the mag had going for it was it's beautiful presentation. For content, you're better off with a good RSS feed.
