So I've finally gotten a Hound, whohoo! the problem is, I don't know how to fit it...
I know I want a cloack, 3 torp launchers and a bomb launcher but I can't get beyond that...
Can any of you guys help me fit out this hound?

Well, first and foremost - the thing that's important on your hound, is the volley damage. Do what you can to max that, and worry less about rate of fire/DPS. That means you can probably skip T2 launchers, for either arbalests or indeed malkuths - because of the lower CPU. Second - you need a propulsion mod. MWD if you want to burn to gate and into position, afterburner if you want to speed tank. (AB works well enough for dodging camps in 0.0 as well).
Third... well, personally, I like to have a medium shield extender - it gives you a lot more survivability.
And then, you may need fittings mods to get it all to work. Your third midslot I think you really have a choice of target painter or warp disruptor. Depends exactly how you're flying, and where - with a TP you can stay at range, but you'll need a tackler with you. But TPs multiply up other bombers effectiveness too.
Bomb launchers are best used in groups, and if in a group, damage colour is far less important than all using the same bomb type. Torps on the other hand, you really want to keep that 50% damage bonus, so use banes.
Bomb launchers also don't work outside 0.0, and so you don't want them if you're not going there.
The two fits I use for bombers are variants on the theme of: [Hound, Lowsec] Co-Processor II Ballistic Control System II Ballistic Control System II
Cold-Gas I Arcjet Thrusters Faint Warp Disruptor I Medium F-S9 Regolith Shield Induction
Siege Missile Launcher II, Caldari Navy Bane Torpedo Siege Missile Launcher II, Caldari Navy Bane Torpedo Siege Missile Launcher II, Caldari Navy Bane Torpedo Covert Ops Cloaking Device II [empty high slot]
Small Ancillary Current Router I Small Warhead Calefaction Catalyst I
[Hound, New Setup] Co-Processor II Micro Auxiliary Power Core I Ballistic Control System II
Catalyzed Cold-Gas I Arcjet Thrusters Medium Shield Extender II Warp Disruptor II
'Arbalest' Siege Missile Launcher, Caldari Navy Bane Torpedo 'Arbalest' Siege Missile Launcher, Caldari Navy Bane Torpedo 'Arbalest' Siege Missile Launcher, Caldari Navy Bane Torpedo Bomb Launcher I, Shrapnel Bomb Covert Ops Cloaking Device II
Small Ancillary Current Router I Small Warhead Calefaction Catalyst I
Biggest difference between the two is bomb launcher and MWD fit. You can, if you wish, save some CPU on the nullsec fit, by swapping to a target painter - at which point you can use T2 launchers, and gain yourself a bit more rate of fire, and javelin/rage torps. Pretty much all my hounds have those rigs fit though.

I think mine is
1x Cloak 1x Bomb Launcher (offline) Sometimes I carry a cov ops cyno 3x Arby Siege
2x Dampners 1x AB II (or maybe it's a MWD)
2x Ballistic Control II (forget how many lows its got) 1x Overdrive II
1x Polycarb rig 1x Warhead rig
Or something like that.
Basically you want to be able to move around quickly while cloaked. And you don't want anyone else to lock you. Ever.
And you want to hit hard.

Actually, if you ignore the part in James' post that hasn't been written by EFT, it would be a good reply. The fittings aren't all too bad.

I've never been hugely sold on damps, simply because ... well, they don't protect you from the biggest threat to your ship - small and fast ships, and drones. But whatever works.
Also: don't forget to accesorize with a friendly blackops bridge + covert cyno. I believe you can fit covert cynos to bombers, as well, if you want some comedy value - being able to multiply your forces ad-hoc is definitely hilarious.

im pretty sure you dont use an overdrive II because it cripple the cargohold and that mean you can only carry 1 extra bomb

TBH Hound fits are somewhat personal preference.
The mids and speed mods are up to your tactics, as well as lows for some builds.
When I fly with a group one of us has a point another has disruption and the third often has a tp.
Some people fly with the extender and some don't really the Hound is one of the few ships that has a variety of usable fits that are tweaked to fit the tactic used. ------- "Because the Dominix is the Chuck Norris of Eve!" |

It's been my experience that when running in bomber gangs that even the lowest fitting extender can mean the difference in keeping your ship or losing it. They are simply too thin to hold up to even a lucky hit or two and drones will often kill you before you can realign and slip out of point range.

They guy with the point almost always fits the extender. the guys that are farther out can mount tp's and damps or tracking disrupt or tp's and ecm. Although ecm in a sb is questionable. ------- "Because the Dominix is the Chuck Norris of Eve!" |

Use Arbi Launchers (meta 4) not T2, makes fitting Looooaaaaaadddddddssssss easier for negligible damage difference. Then its up for preference: speed, extra damage,(some) tank, target painters, tracking disruptor, sensor boosters, etc etc....
