You're getting millions of SP refunded to you to spend in whatever skills you see fit, and a crappy feature of the game, which is game breaking for some people, is getting removed, so more people for you to play with.
HTFU now and deal with your...refunded... skill points... Yeah. It's such crap that you get free SP back....

I seem to remember you, Windjammer, were one of the leading pilots against the removal of the learning skills in a monster thread we had a few months back on these forums.
You were pigheaded then and said it wasnt going to happen arguing against the quotes of the CCP Devs etc and the posts by anti learning skills people
Now you look a tool.
I dont think we need to convince you of anything. If you dont like it you'll just have to deal with it. Its a great move by CCP and the amount of people that'll leave due to it (all 3 of you) wont make any difference.
Now you're angling with comments such as 'If I were convinced that this change would increase the numbers of active players in EVE, IÆd be all for it. It wonÆt'. You had a whole other argument before and were convinced that this would never happen.
Im not gonna try to convince you of anything cause i couldnt give a rats bum if you stay or go.

Geez. Do you even try to read what youÆre replying to? The advantage IÆm losing is faster learning speed over those who have chosen not to commit to the game of EVE to the degree that I have.
Do you even try yourself? You'll have an absolute advantage for ever and a relative advantage for almost a decade.
Come back in 2019, when you'll have ~300 million skillpoints, and cry that now you're 72 SP /hr worse off than you would have been otherwise.
Please - Windjammer - This seems to imply that what your worried about wont be relevant for a decade...
Would love to see you repond to Malc..... Please re-size your signature to the maximum allowed of 400 x 120 pixels with a maximum file size of 24000 bytes. Zymurgist

I have been playing Eve for about 3 years now. My Main is almost at the 50 million SP milestone, and Eve has changed. I think this is a good change and learning skills are a bore and probably lose potential long term customers for CCP.
Eve should remain a niche game and stick to its roots. The choices CCP has made in the last few years have been questionable. A wise corp mate from long ago once said to me" The random 1vs1 pvp you will have is determined before you leave station".
There has always been a a ship that must be nerfed. Contract scams are dead. "Lofty" fleet scam was abolished along with the north star. Insurance nerf. Sucide ganging afk haulers nerf( Concord Boost!!)
I will always a have a sub for eve. I log in some days to pvp a little or check my market orders. There has always been something to keep me interested. Missions, pvp, mining, building, trading. I built my own Jump Freighter from scratch and that felt great.
CCP has made some good decsions but in the future I would like to see, large blobs playable, or abolished, harsher consquences. But I will leave that up to CCP.
Maybe one day I will emorage quit for good. Fly safe

No! You tell us why your happiness matters to us or this is a moot point!
Nonono, it's "a moo point." You no, a cows opinion, so it really doesn't matter.

OP got it right. To those losers and whiners who didn't train your learning skills Congratulations. 70% of the EvE popluation never trained their Learning skills to max. These are the losers who like having things handed to them. You get a bonus. congratulations.
Could you also please start whining about how hard it is to get Engineering to 5, BS 5, Electronics, Science, Mechanic, Space ship command, Marauders, Missle Command operation, drones, and other core skills all to 5? That will also help newbies get up to speed and makes great justification for changing the game.
Actaully, why not just make all skills to 5? After all, it would be great to juts get the ships you want and go PvP. Awesome. what a great idea you have. ... LOSERS/.

I donÆt recall the thread you mention, but it does sound like me. Guess I underestimated CCPÆs stupidity. I wasnÆt convinced then that eliminating Learning Skills would substantially raise the number of players or improve the game and IÆm not now. Certainly it will not raise the number of quality players. You knowàààthe ones who will actually stick around and play for a number of years. If I had been convinced it would raise numbers and increase activity within the game I would not have argued against it. Oh, and since theyÆve gone ahead and removed the Learning Skills, I donÆt see whatÆs wrong with hoping IÆm wrong.
Imagine how much I care about what you think of my posts. All the freedom in the world to simply not read them and what do you do? IÆll continue to post as I see fit. Deal with it and any other situation in which someone has an opinion differing from your own.

Yes, yesààà.removal of Learning Skills benefits goons. I hardly think I need to say this, but what does that say about removing the skills?
