So i am minmatar and at the moment i use a Drake for WH sites. But i am curious as if there is a better BC then a Drake for WH's?
I tried a passive shield cane, but even though the dps was allot higher (with AC's, not with arties) , the tank was too low. since it just had too little resists.
I also worked on a Cyclone (only in EFT) but it did show some better tanking but less dps.
So i am wondering, is there anything that matches up to the Drake in terms of tanking and dps in one ship? |

Not really, if you run with a group though the newly buffed small and medium pith shield transporters on spider tanking canes could be very interesting.
Well, in the same price class ofc. If you're willing to pay a billion or so there's other fits. |

I've considered trying the Cane out: It's only about 16 hours for me to get into. If you want to fly a cane, it really seems like armor tank is the way to go. |

You could go for a nighthawk. Can't remember if the dps is better but the tank is badass. |

Sadly I live in a pulsar, so personally it's drake or nighthawk for me (I prefer the nighthawk tbh). But before this home, I developed a fondness for the absolution. There are lots of ways to set it up, as fitting is pretty generous, cap boosted, double MAR, I tended to use beams more than pulses, since it lacks a range bonus, but the ability to fit a MWD means you spend very little time getting into optimal.
And I love the cylon like lights along the nose, probably why I have 3.

a passive cane is very good for C1. it shreds frigates like a b0ss and you can use the extra high for a salvager if you want.

There is no better BC for C1, C2 solo farm than Drake.
If You are going to skill Cadlari deeper You should try Tengu or Nighthawk. |
