I've been playing EVE for a few weeks now and have been quite happy just zipping about running through the various missions my agent keeps giving me but will he ever run out of missions or will he just keep dishing them out? I've done all the tutorial missions and the Sisters of EVE epic arc which all had a sence of completion but this Level 2 advisory agent just won't stop. I've not been keeping notes of the mission names but I'm pretty sure I've transported the same crates of tobacco to the same bored miners a few times over... maybe they need to quit and its all my fault their addicted and want more.
Thanks

No normal mission agents don't run out of missions. Storyline missions come ever 16 successfully completed missions (as far as I remember). And epic arcs just have a cool down time after completion.

Edited by: Baltara on 04/12/2010 05:20:43 Open the agents' info window and click on the corporation name to see the corporation info.
Go to the Agents tab and you can see which agents are available to you (or not) from that corporation. As your standings with the corporation increase, better agents (higher level, better quality) will become available. Check this tab often.
You can also train Connections under Social to get a quick standings boost.

I worked on an agent to get her up to 10.0 standing for completion sake and thinking that she would say she had no more missions for me. But she is still willing to offer me missions after I have attained 10.0 personal standing with her. Different agents do seem to give different selections of missions in my experience. But there only have a limited number and they will be offered to you over and over. The most tedious mission(I don't recall the official name for it.)that you can be offered is in five parts I think and is about shuttle racing. I won't be doing that mission set again.

It is a common misconception that agents provide some kind of storyline and that you have to do missions for one agent until the "quest" is finished and that agent sends you to another agent to continue the story.
In fact, there is no story and the only reason you do missions is to grind ISK. The only reason you do missions for low level agents is to grind corp-standing needed for more profitable higher level agents.
