It's probably been mentioned a million times already and there might be a good reason for it being the way it is, but there is one thing that drives me crazy.
When I let my drones out, I expand the "drones in space" to see if they get pew-pewed. When I see them get pew-pewed, I return them to the drone bay. When it's safe, I let them back out, except I have to expand "drones in space" every single time. Why can't my "drones in space" remain expanded? ------------------------------- The fox chases for her meal, but the rabbit runs for her life. |

The whole drone interface needs to be fixed in my opinion.
They're talking about redoing the interface for EVE in steps, so hopefully we'll see a lot more fun interface tools than we've ever known before with the new CarbonUI, but who knows.

Oh this is fun!
My gripe since day one...vague and inconsistent item descriptions and attributes.
For instance, a Micro Auxiliary Power Core I "Supplements the main Power (capital P) core providing more power." What is the main Power (capital P) core? Where is that phrase located in any other relevant area of EVE? Ship attributes? No. Ship fitting attributes? No. I see cpu, powergrid, and calibration; also something about low/med/high slots. But nothing about Power core.
The module claims to provide 10 MW of power bonus. Where is that unit ever used in any other relevant area of EVE?
Ship attributes? No. Ship fitting attributes? No. Ship fitting window? Of course not. Though I do see numbers without any corresponding units.
For instance, ship fitting window: CPU, 937.50 of WHAT? PowerGrid (one word, with a capital G), 100 of WHAT? Calibration, 400 of WHAT?
Anyone with half a brain and just a bit of edu.....edumaca...education.....can make sense of it all. Though inconsistensy bothers me.
Another example: Capacitor Power Relay I provides a cap "Bonus" of "negative 10%" whereas Barrage S ammo provides a tracking "Multiplier" of "0.75%"? Let's not overlook a third Bloodclaw Precision Light Missle applying a velocity "Penalty" of "negative 7.5%". Seriously? Three different methods of expressing a penalized attribute?
On another note, specific Minmatar ship models and respective variants, most notably the Mammoth industrial. What are these little lines poking out EVERYWHERE? Antennae? I cant imagine an industrial with far more of them than anything covops/recon related.

Mission agent pop-up messages are confusing:
The pop-up message you get from a mission agent when you complete the mission, if the agent is a locator, is something like, "I like your style, but you know you still have a mission to complete for me, right?" As the popup is supposed to let you know that the mission is complete, this is obviously misleading and confusing to new players.
A message pops up when you complete some missions which have an item you're supposed to bring back saying the mission is complete. However, you fly back, thinking it's done, but you don't have the item, and so you can't turn the mission in. Confusing to new players.
The message you get from a faction agent you've just completed a mission for (if you click on request mission) is "I don't work with people I don't know." How do you not know me? I just completed "a very important mission" for you. WTF? You go from "dreadfully important that you complete this mission for your faction" to "who the **** are you?!" within seconds. Breaks the immersion, confusing for new players.

Why not change the color of the box to green when receiving aid from a ship? When you're taking a lot of damage in a fleet fight and you're not sure the logi pilot heard you request reps, it's very hard to tell if you're receiving any if the screen is full of animations and yellow/redboxes (and your HP is moving too much to see if it's coming back).
Or some other color that identifies them as giving aid/reps.
On the list of things to change, this HAS to be the most trivial that would have a lot of impact.

Despite having read the official explanation of how warping works in EVE, I still imagine it as spacefold/subspace movement technology. So then you're not actually CRASHING into stuff, you're MOVING THROUGH IT (per se).

I'm sure someone's mentioned it before, but...
Why, when I lose a ship, others can target my pod before my client will even allow me to act? I agree that you should have to be fast to escape but if anyone's in a frigate nearby it's just not going to happen.
If newly spawned pods just had three seconds of invulnerability it would make the fight between fleeing or dying fair. Pod kills are valuable to some, shouldn't they have to earn it? |

Could you please fix the UI so that the minimize, close, pin "buttons" in the top right corners of windows are just always visible instead of having them vanish when the mouse is not hovering over them? It's bugged in Incarna now to the point that closing windows is a chore. Just leave them visible please... |

That is more a function of your computer and net speed than CCP. When I see I am going down I click on a planet and spam the warp key. Has gotten me out of a lot of pod killings. |

-Orca cargo management * You can not place things into GSC's that reside inside a corporate hangar while in space. (at least as the orca pilot) You can while you're docked at a station, but not in space. Even though you can move the GSC from the corporate hangar to the ship hangar open it, and then place goods inside it. * You can not place a pile of goods into the corporate hangar when it exceeds the total volume available. It should give you an error like it does in most other places, which allows you to move what can be moved and dump the rest back to its original location.

Creating a remote buy order - when pressing the button to select the station, then the focus is NOT on the new window where you need to type the station name. So it requires additional clicks. |

Apologies if some of these are repeats:
- Link to existing Evelopedia guides organized by profession/subprofession, ship, and concepts from Neocomm
- Market: Highlight on your order within the buy and sell details screen
- Ability to modify orders with icon click in My Orders tab and see in dialog with highest bid/lowest sell
- Option for pop up and fade notifications for chat within channels vs. static window
- Bulk sell of highlighted things in items tab as along as they are no more than X% below average selling price
- Folders for ships in hanger (like station container for items, but for ships)
- Optional tabs for salvage pop ups vs. cascading windows... with focus on most recent
- Guest tab grouping by corp
- Sorting on offices tab by things like corp type and size with single apply to button for active corp
- Designation of where locked targets appear on screen (top gets in the way if you move your ship interface to top)
- Notepad popups tied to specific screens (ie. market) or ships (eg. engagement setting notes)
- PI: Direct link on planets tab in planet info row to launch pad contents and individual processors (with status listed)
- Scanning: Controls on the outside of scan bubbles vs. inside, which gets in the way when you reduce size and are trying to hone in on object
- Auto calculation on the buy screen of how much of the current item can fit in your cargo hold
- Option to share overview tab setups like with ship loadouts
- Full vertical extension of overview, with option to extend even if current ship does not include drones

Fix the damn contract bug already.
Here's how it works:
Asset Window -> Right Click -> Create Contract
Contract window appears. Choose type of contract -> Choose Item(s)
Now on this screen the item you right clicked on is pre-selected so you don't have to check it again. Excellent.
-> Price / Reward / Collateral / Length of contract
Now this is the last screen before confirming a contract. If you click BACK at this point of the process, to go back to change the type of contract (from item exchange to auction etc) and then click NEXT to return to this screen, the pre-selected item for the contract becomes unselected. The contract window then gives an error when you confirm the contract, stating that you "cannot just ask for stuff".
It's one of the most annoying thing about contracts, especially if you create a high number of small 1 item contracts.
This bug has been present in the game since mid-2008, and is so trivial a bug that I've never submitted a bug report for it. Instead I HTFU and dealt with it.

- there is a UI issue with the pin, minimize and close window buttons disappearing, without performing their function when they are clicked sometimes
- UI issue/annoyance with targeting * example: (with CTRL as toggle lock target) If overview has focus, but user is attempting to click a target in space, on the event of CTRL being pressed down, the last selected item in the overview will be target-toggled instead of what the mouse aimed at = option to have the mouse button as a requirement for the combo (CTRL + LMB) instead of just CTRL triggering the shortcut on a selected item

I don't like being forced to load the station environment. I'm completely for allowing people to gank me in station and not allowing me to be safe, but I don't like loading that hefty graphics thing in a game that's already bad at memory management.
Also, I like the old doomsday graphic and the old warp sound. I wish the old warp sound were an option. And some of those doomsday weapon graphics were just amazing. To see them degraded to a weak laser seems like such a waste. It's got nothing to do with their functionality, I'd just like to see good art not go to waste. --

Trouble is, you really can't yet...it takes a few more seconds after the button goes white before it actually allows you to jump. Meanwhile you're spamming the button over and over until it works.
So, please make it stay grayed out until it actually works when clicked on. Would that save a bunch of useless server calls? ______________________

Here's a little thing that seems to be new. Small but annoying. Having to click multiple times to close windows now. The click box over the little Xes seems to have a life of there own. Can be frustrating when you have a half dozen windows open and the being targeted alarm starts. By the time you've cleared the screen to see what's up, it's either some rat or you are in a pod.

Since the incarna update, i have to click or press the shortcut key multiple times very often, and give commands multiple times for drones for example to have any effect whatsoever. It is very annoying, i don't know how you have achieved this.

Just a quick note to say that playing other games, and then coming back to EvE, I realize just how many little screwed up things there are and how annoying it is to deal with all of them. No one thing is all that bad, but added up all together and it = suckage. Playing other games made me forget all about all the pesky little issues I hate, only to be reminded of them all when I logged on today just to buy skills books and update my skills queue while waiting for my subs to expire. I'm seriously glad I'm on a glide path outta here. I'll check out EvE again in a year or so, and I'll betcha nothing will changed for the better.

No doubt these are duplicated, but this threadnought defies cataloguing..
-Tiny font in context menus is fiddly -Tiny controls for overheating -Too many options in hangar context menus.. group them please -Drones in space details expanded causes the drones in bay details to also expand when you recall them -The lack of inertia of pods means they often drop out of warp slightly more than 2500m from a gate when you're warping to zero -Sometimes gates are still made of giant light particles -Gas cloud effects cause the scene to brighten and darken oddly from different camera angles -Being able to fly inside planets and moons -Even the smallest moons are perfect spheres - they should be huge roid shaped -Most of the stars are too big.. even suns look small from 50au away -Asteroid belts should be stellar orbit items, not little clusters around planets -Most solar systems have too much ambient light. -Nebula colour should not vary for every system in a constellation.. colour should be grouped by physical location of the systems in the nebula. -No comets :( -Weapons fire passes through obstacles.. I want to be able to hide behind things
