Edited by: Velios on 15/01/2005 21:28:40 M.Corp is proud to be amongst the founding corporations of the Keiretsu. We have a goal and vision for this alliance that is taking shape day by day. We of course were involved in talks with the group known as "The Foundation" at the very inception of our alliance to see if they shared the same goals as us. Being ex-ca corps for the most part, we fully expected to welcome them with open arms into this new venture. Unfortunately their conceptions of anything "CA' are contorted and charged with bitterness. In the initial meeting we could feel this hostility tainting what should have been talks for the benefit of everyone. We from the Keiretsu pulled away from the talks, able to see that the path that lay before us was now set... and so the conflict began.
This will be a bloody battle between Keiretsu and Foundation, but our goals will not be undermined and we will continue to forge a new society, free from the burdens of the old ways. This is a fresh start and the momentum and desire for change is with us.

The Keiretsu is looking forward to fruitful talks with Ushra'Khan in the near future. Things are not as you think brothers. All will become clear soon - in the meantime I expect to see no hostilities between The Keiretsu and Ushra'Khan I hope this stance is reciprocated. |

The Keiretsu standings with regard to Ushra'Khan have now been set to Do No Shoot while we begin talks throughout this week. In the meantime we would ask that your fleets and ships steer clear of foundation members in the area so as not toget swept up in the heat of battle.
Many thanks and safe flight. |

Let this thread not decsend into the abyss. Talks are due to take place between The Keiretsu and Ushra'Khan throughout the week. Sarkos, you may yet see the day when all loyal Minmatar pilots can traverse the stars of Great Wildlands in safety.
Please allow talks to commence before taking a different path. |

Originally by: Kyogen Steiner The tard part was my way of expressing frustration that 2 groups of people where there are alot of ppl ilike and deeply respect are fighting eachother when they could be owning the area with an irongrip together.
This is the point my friend.
The foundation do not wish to place any form of control on the Great Wildlands region, they would have the region fall into a state of anarchy and a free haven for all the pirate scum of the universe to seek their fortune in. The Keiretsu stands for the stability and peace of the region, but before we can have that and allow others controlled access to the area we must fight Foundations immoral and twisted vision for Great Wildlands tooth and nail.
All of the corps in Keiretsu know what it means to secure this area and be part of a real society, we have done it for so long - we aim to make no enemies but when a group such as the foundation come to us with a vision we so strongly disagree with then we must bare arms - even if it be against corps we have the fondest memory of.
The Keiretsu is not "The new CA" we have no aggressive ambition like CA had, we have no express desire to keep GW for ourselves... All we ask is that the area is secured in the manner we believe to be the right way forward for the stability of the region. In the future visitors can come to GW on request - we need to make secure the region first though. |
