Well you fail to see the picture. There's a CSM running blahblah's and yadayada's for almost peanuts.

Unfortunately, CCP gave in to the AFK Botting Moron Menace. Who caused this in first place? Goons vs. hisec war maybe? And in the same process you guys ruined Hulkageddon as event.
Just change it for Haulergeddon, seems those haulers are in need of some buffs too so just gank those by millions with rifters and thrashers, then we will always be able to thank you for doing the only thing that makes the sandbox evolve: beat it to death

Lower ice prices make a lot of other activities much more viable. Not to mention, it will bring the rewards for ice mining in line with the effort required. Remember that ice prices are STILL way above their levels from 3 months ago. Not to mention, with the changes to moon alchemy, MANY more POSes are getting setup, so there is a much greater demand.
Going to be mostly afk while you cook dinner or grab a shower or whatever? Mine some Ice.
Have time to be more active? Mine Ore and get more isk/hour.
In the cat-and-mouse game that is low sec, there is no shame in learning to be a better mouse. |

When was ICE mining not worthless income for the average player? When was it NOT a semi afk activity done with many alts?
The only change now, is that their are choice other than the hulk. Mining barges are viable. The hulk is just another ship, on equal with any other ship in the exhumer class. The exhumer class is now 'end game' mining. Not just the hulk. T2 mining ships are now just about as much an improvement over T1 mining ships as T2 combat ships are over their respective T1 combat ships. |
