Just a show of hands to see how many people use EVE Gate, the much trumpeted content of the last expansion.
I just checked our 'corporate chatter' and i saw the last entry 22 days ago, and only 8 entries in the last 100 days.
Is this just our corp, (i figured we have our own forums and so dont really have the need for EVE Gate), or is it more widespread?
If you care feel free to answer the awesome rainbow poll below
I use EVE Gate
A) At least once a day
B) At least once a week
C) At least once a month
D) What is EVE Gate?
E) I know what EVE Gate is, but I never use it

I used it once, then never logged into it ever again. It still frustrates me that they completely nuked and completely crippled the Address Book functionality (max 300 contacts, no contact folders) for Eve-Gate.

I used it once to set all details to private.
I used it once since then, to make sure I'd set everything to private.
I haven't used it for anything else and haven't used it since.
When we get the ability to update our skill queue from it (so I can update my skill queue when travelling), then I'll make use of it!

I use EVEGate even tough it won't let me read mails I've sent myself (*facepalm*) but at least it doesn't **** up every post ingame where I use c&p, enter or backspace (*triple facepalm*).

I still want the ability to add my ingame activities(research, manufacturing, mission expiration, etc) to the calendar so only I can see them unless they added that which I doubt cause option E) I don't use it.

The calendar is the real absolete addition since every corp/alliance event is posted thru evemail too

Where's the option for once ever?
With the right script you can extract a complete list of every character in the game. I wasn't aware it had any uses besides that.

I think Eve Gate is awesome sauce I can check all my mails and get updated on corp issues. The calenders pretty sweet too. All this without having to login to the game.
I think for a Beta its good stuff and we can only go forward.

..this doesn't surprise me as I consider Eve-Gate to be put in place for Eve-Dust514 and not for Eve-SpaceShips. It will probably see more use around younger corps/noobs who never needed to invent their own meta-game-infrastructure and once used to Eve-Gate will never see the need.
CCP probably knows that.

I see no real point in it unless I'm away from a computer that has eve installed in which case I wouldn't use it anyway because I'm not so addicted to eve that I'd want to login to evegate on a possibly keylogged ridden public/friends PC just to check evemails and skill training progress.
