Evemon does more , more quickly.
I guess eve-gate is ok in terms of reading mail but only my main gets mail and I log in there all the time...most corp messaging is by private forums, pidgin etc anyway.

I use it to check skills so I know when I need to log in.

I use it on my accounts while I'm working away from home, to check my corp/alliance mail - using my phone...
BUT...
Seeing as mobile-phones "aren't officially supported", I can't actually reply to anything important, or even compose a mail of my own; so if the same rules apply when they bring out the Corporation Forums for us to use, there is ZERO chance I'll be using them. And it'll be interesting to see how many Corps give-up their own forums to use CCP's free ones....

Regulary to check mails when I am on other accounts - dont use any of the other features although occasionally calendar is used for corp events but this is usually in addition to an evemail and/or private forum post so slightly pointless

More that once a day.
I can talk to guys in game from my work comp.
I can check skills so I can remind myself what I may need to change when I get home.
I can check my wallet to see if sales have completed.
I also gather intel from other players.

B) If I want to research a Corp I look it up on EVE Gate when not logged in. Sometimes I check Mail to.

Logged in once to set everything to private.
I just wish there would be a setting "Everything disabled and keep it like that" which would disable the stupid stuff CCP comes up with in the future.
I realy hate that they force me to log in with every iteration of "cool stuff" they invent for this.

ok so I get the idea behind this.. but...
How offen can't you log into eve and just check your mail? I've never once HAD to check the calendar or mail. I mean, it's cool, and I'm glad I can do it ... but.... I don't get it, why would I use it more than once a month?
Now the voice chat thing is interesting however, because now if eve crashes, eve voice won't.

actully, if you could buy and fit ships that would pure ****ing win.
Especially if they built EFT into it.
Then I could fit ships out at work! I know I wouldn't be able to warp, and thus be stuck to one market, but my corp always has a ton of modules for ships to fit.

Daily for mail, and whenever I want to purge contacts. Otherwise, I think the people who made it pulled a scam on CCP.

I check my emails and check my balance (to see what contracts sold) pretty much daily from work. Whereas starting the client and playing is a big time commitment during my free hours.
