How do you get into a decent 0.0 corp without cries of "ZOMG SPAI!"?
I can't help thinking that if I post a lonely hearts thread on the recruitment forum, I'll be bombarded with yet more failcorps.

Try to create another corp again, mayhaps just keep it casual? Go out, look for fun in solo or small groups and don't worry so much about losing ships or dying. It's just a game. I feel that people are way too scared of losing what they have.

keep joining different corps until you find one that like to PvP, wh, high sec, low sec, null sec, doesn't matter
Most corps and alliances out there are garbage, it's really hard to find a good one

By doing better screening than you have apparently been doing. You don't need to post on recruitment forum. Just see what's already up there. Look at corp's killboard. See what time they are active, where they fly, how many pilots in gang, what kind of ships they fly, do their ships setups and gang composition make sense, look up what their stats are (hint: very high killboard efficiency can mean that they are into ganking way too much, ganking is boring). Look up corp in game, how long has the corp been around, see who CEO is, see if they have website or forum and visit it and see what they are posting. Use eve search to look up their corp name and check out if they were involved in anything that got a forum mention and what their members have been posting. After this screening process, whatever looks decent enough just join and try it out. I personally prefer to pick corps myself rather than let their recruiters bs me. There is usually plenty of evidence to gather without even speaking to recruiter to know where corp operates, how established it is, and how much fail or success it has had.

Wouldn't recommend that. Because you end up having to move alot. And even if you don't have alot of assets to move, too much corp hopping would turn off the good corps...the ones you want to attract. Nagen's approach is what I recommend.
