Well now that I got your attention. I must apologize I may have deceived you slightly
As a public service to you all, and at great personal risk to myself, I have created a time machine and traveled to Feb 1st, 2012 to test EVE's new expansion Incarna. Confirming I will receive all ISK donations for improving your quality of life
* Feb 1. First stage of Incarna Character creator (known as ICC henceforth) is released, only shoes are customizable. 25 different colors.
* Feb 2. Optional patch deployed. Three colors and shoelaces are added
* Feb 4. Following player's nerdrage about buggy shoelaces, optional patch of shoelaces is removed
* Feb 7. Second stage of ICC is released. Legs are now installed
* Feb 8. Optional patch 1 and 2 for pockets (Front right and Back left only, the others were proven to be too overpowered in testing)
* Feb 11. Dev Blog about removing ECM and neutral RR appears. Sisi shows all ECM as pillow launchers
* Feb 13. Uninstalled legs patch 2 and reinstalled shoes patch 1. Forums also removed due to excessive poasting crashing TQ
* Feb 15. Forums brought back. Market Discussion is at the very top, and and is in bold letters that changes color every 15 seconds. You given 3 free hours of game time every time you create a thread there. The MD regulars LOVE the extra attention
* Feb 17 Dev blog apologizes for the idea of removing ECM, changes shelved until later
* Feb 19 Scorch is accidentally boosted, providing 800% range instead of the planned stealth nerf.
* Feb 22 CCP apologizes for that, removes all Scorch.
* Feb 24 Third stage of ICC is released, hands and 7 fingers are added. Much player debate happens over which hand to put what combination of fingers.
* March 1 Dev blog proclaims victory, ICC will be released with all features complete (well the ones related to hands, feet and legs) 32 hour planned downtime happens.
* March 2-13 Dev blogs explain exactly why you should go to fanfest, a 5 minute video blog each daily. Mostly consists of beer commercials and side-boob shots of topless blonde women. Because of the effort required in creating this, nearly all further development is stopped.
* March 23. Dust 237 is launched. One truck, two maps and half of a grenade launcher are included. If you insert your credit card number, 8 different types of armor and 12 types of planes are purchasable.
* April 1. Armageddon day hits TQ, SISI turns all space into 1.0. 20900 people log on TQ and 175K on Sisi.
* April 20. WoD MMO launches unannounced, features include 3 plain, dreamy teenage girls to chose from and the first quest goes live. After supplying a suitable headshot .JPEG (CCP Oveur was incredibly popular), a nude sparkly male vampire with said headshot descends from the sky and does roughly 15 hours of dance animations as your quest reward. Sells 74 million copies on the 1st week.
April 22. eveonline website is changed to "HAHAHA BLIZZARD 110 MILLION SUBSCRIBERS TO OUR NEW MMO! FLAWLESS VICTORY ACHIEVED"

then you probably haven't spend enough time on MD to know that in summer 2008 CCP happily declared "we feel itĘs time to give the Market Discussions area a boost" and moved the Market Discussions forum to its current place in the forums listing.
Of course this extra attention resulted in much happiness of MD regulars and a great increase in the average quality of posts. 
Has been some time since I have seen this mentioned on MD but for at least a year afterwards many people were really grumpy and the relocation was often cited as one of the reasons why MD was going downhill (at some point the "Fight the MD elite!!!" movement took over and people gradually forgot about being angry about this issue).
