Ok I'm toying around with two fits for a Nightmare.
I plan on using the same ship but different fittings for both Level 4s and PVP
Should the rig configuration be incompatible with PVP, I'll just drop the requirement and concentrate only on level 4s.

I'm using a CN x-large rather then a complex one because i think putting that much isk on so little EHP is just asking for a suicide gank.

Id dump the point and either fit a web or an injector. Id also dump the te and dcu and put in either two nanofibers or two istabs.

You don't use cap control circuits in PvP, you use a cap booster, on a nightmare an active tank(nightmare can't do a decent buffer) and resist rigs/core defense cap safeguards.

this and also fail pvp nightmare.
active tank fit it use rigs to fill holes in shield resis maybe, also once everythign gets under your guns 1 hac will kill you.

If you want to use same hull for pve and pvp, just fit 1x t2 em resist and 2x t2 cap safeguard.

Rigs are 2 core def cap safeguard IIs and a t2 em rig.
Been a while since I've watched a burning eve vid but I think the drones are the standard 2 ogre 2 hammerhead 1 hobgoblin/warrior mix, and I'd wager he uses strong blue pills  Also gonna go ahead and say 2 X 5% damage implants with a full HG crystal set. Maybe a few cap related imps idk what slots the different ones go in so w/e.

that was what he used, but I think he changed a few things since then.
he also left out 2 highslots

Add boosting, falcon, logi and hauler alts.
Its really not that impressive ship if you are "really" solo.
