As I understand it there corp standings and faction standings.
Running missions increases both corp standing and faction standing. It appears that my corp standing increases faster than may faction standing. Right now I have 9+ with Caldari Navy but only a touch over 3 with Caldari as a whole.
I assume the higher the standing gets, the less increase per mission I get. Assuming this is true does that apply to both corp and faction standing? I'm interested in getting my Caldari Faction standing above 5, should I simply continue to grind missions with the Caldari Navy (who I have nearly maxed my standing with) or should I switch to a different corporation within the Caldari Faction? |

The higher the standing the less increase you get per mission, that part is correct. Getting your standing up from 9.0 to 10, is a lot harder than getting it from 2.0 to 3.0. That principle works for both faction and corp standings.
Regular missions do NOT increase your faction standing, only your corp standing. After completing a number of regular missions ( 16 i think) you get a storyline mission. That's the one that has an effect on both corp and faction standing. And since you get a lot less storyline missions than regular missions, your faction standings increase slower than your corp standings.
If you are looking for a quicker, more efficient way to increase your faction standings you can try COSMOS missions, FW missions, returning pirate tags at data centers, or running the faction's Epic arc. Let the gun do the talking! |
