I live out in Syndicate and I've killed a few Loki's and observed other fits on different killboards. But they differentiate so much I just can't decide how to fit mine. It will be just for PvP, nothing else. Any thoughts?

An obvious example would be that it's pretty daft to bring one of the suggested armor fits to a shield-supported gang, even if the armor fits have merits on their own. The Loki can be shield or armor, fast or slow, short ranged or long ranged, cloaky and nullified, provide bonuses, probe or have bonused webs etc. "It will be for PvP" is not precise enough to help you achieve what you want.

Must agree with it, the only Loki setup I saw in big gangs is AB-armor-HAC style setup with webs and arty. If gang is small - use shieldtank and AC's. Huginn+Vagabond = Hugobond
eek amouse	Posted - 2010.12.16 06:25:00 - [24] well, the plated hurricane has been around forever and is still the tried and true fit, despite the popularity of the shield fit recently. this loki fit is kinda like that, only way more badass. if you're goin with the immobility drivers, you might as well go all the way and use two webs to maximize the utility it adds to a gang. plus armor logitics are just way more popular where i am. everyone else in the gang is usually in an armor tanked T3, BC or HAC, so i wouldn't really lag behind.

Back in my days we had to walk 25km uphill in the snow with no shoes to get school.

Intercalated Nanofibers makes 2 plates feel like none. you still get a hefty speed nerf out of the T2 trimarks, but yeah. intercalated nanofib sub is good. greatest problem with the loki is really the defensive subsystem selection tho. the more shield-geared sub is actually the logistic sub, and you have a relatively useless amp node that decreases your sig. good in some situations, but that's it. it's somewhat situational. Even considering both resistance-giving subs, you sometimes end up with weird slot configurations that are pretty much kinda schizoid, with armor tanking lokis with a large number of meds compared to lows, or vice-versa when going shield. now if CCP introduced the goddamned 5th sub with a shield resistance bonus and replaced the resistance bonus of the logi setup for a small range bonus to transporters, that would be interesting. --- Quote: The more I know about humans, the more I love animals. ain't that right.
