EVE Online Incursion 1.0.1 has been deployed. It includes the removal of learning skills, updates to the Neural Remap window, and the Echelon. In addition to this release there is a client update to fix a minor issue with the petitioning system. We strongly urge you to accept this update.
EVE Online Incursion is being released in three parts. This is the second installment with the final release coming January 18, 2011. The final release will include the character creator and Sansha incursion. Full details of this can be found in CCP ZuluÆs blog.
Tomorrow we plan to have a follow up patch to address several minor issues. Additional details will be made available soon.
This thread is for issues. If you have general feedbacks please use this link.

Edited by: CCP Gangleri on 15/12/2010 21:53:13 We've still not been able to reproduce this black screen on login issue internally and the only workaround reported to work has been to download the latest build and re-install.
Link to client download: http://content.eveonline.com/mac/eve-premium_005082_213149-mac.dmg
Please try to avoid downloading via wireless network as that has been known to frequently cause file corruption.
If you have any other relevant data about this issue please post in this thread, especially if you have a verified workaround that is simpler than re-installing the client.
We have so far verified that clearing cache (core_public__.dat) does not work for everyone affected by this. HDR does not seem to affect this either.
Repair tool permissions issue is being looked into, see this thread for further info on repair tool usage and updates: http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=1392740 ------------------ Tester, Scrum Master Quality Assurance

I'm running on an old MacBook Pro (3,1) with 128MB GeForce 8600M GT and 10.6.5
It is possible that OS version is the deciding factor. ------------------ Tester, Scrum Master Quality Assurance

First of all, the petition window issue being fixed in todays patch affects the EVE client in general. I don't know why some of you seem to take it as an insult that we want to fix the mechanism by which you can get assistance as quickly as possible.
On to the issue at hand, it seems that something in the way we implemented AA is having an adverse effect on many users running OS X version 10.5.8 which I can totally understand people being irate over. We will attempt to pinpoint the issue at hand so we can fix it but I honestly don't know how long that will take, if you want a quick solution I suggest an OS upgrade since we very likely will have to drop support for 10.5.x at some point in 2011 anyway. I know that isn't the ideal way to tackle this, and I will be pushing for a fix regardless, but the quickest solution is worth mentioning. ------------------ Tester, Scrum Master Quality Assurance

For those that had trouble getting the 213149-214371 patch via autopatching, thanks for posting. We noticed this during internal testing and it was fixed as soon as possible, please keep in mind for future updates that while Tranquility is not accepting connections chances are that we will still be in the process of verifying the autopatch availability. This is the last step in the verification process before opening TQ up for players. ------------------ Tester, Scrum Master Quality Assurance

Latest theory is that this only affects users with NVidia cards running OS X 10.5.8, would very much appreciate posts confirming or disproving that avenue of investigation.
Would also very much appreciate posts confirming or disproving Leathersacks workaround proposal posted above. I will keep you posted as I get more details. ------------------ Tester, Scrum Master Quality Assurance
