Is it just me or are the loyalty points you get rewarded getting fewer an fewer?
Maybe that "formula" needs to get looked into? The more succesful missions the community does, the less the lp's get globaly?

We see that the loyalty point rewards depend on the agent`s base quality and the security lvl of the system he¦s located in. Later on we`re supposed to have skills increasing that.
After that, each mission has it¦s own lp level. That is supposed to change dynamicaly by the number of succesful missions the entire(?) community does.
For the agent I¦ve been working on, besides 1-2 huge hauling missions with high lp rewards, all the rest lp rewards have dropped considerably over the last few weeks.
The fact that most ppl seem to do kill missions and since the kill missions have the least lp rewards of all, makes me think the dynamic "formula" needs to get looked into.

Well if it "works" it may need to be changed.
The fact that all kill missions have less lp rewards than the simplest hauling mission says a lot realy.
Since most ppl are doing kill missions and slowly getting more experienced in them, they will keep decreasing to the point of... well you get the picture

Originally by: Kuolematon Uh, I have done over 100 missions, no Caldari faction raise or any nice storyline missions. Explain that?
Completely irrelevant to this
I get storyline missions like it`s supposed to, we¦re talking about loyalty point rewards in normal missions.
In your case it has been said that failing/declining a normal mission will "fix" the stuck counter and you`ll get a storyline mission soo.

Originally by: j0sephine If you want the rewards to stabilize/go up, start rejecting missions that you think give too little LP for your time. As long as you keep doing missions for crumbs, you'll keep getting crumbs. ^^;
LOL that is an oxymoron really... rejecting missions to get more "loyalty" points hehe
I`m sure it`s not how it`s supposed to happen

Ah forgive me I think I didn`t make myself clear.
I was suggesting that the "formula" works globaly while I thought that it should work just on the particular agent
Meaning it should have the opposite result... the ppl I`ve asked who are doing missions for hauling lvl4 agents, do that for the main reason of lack of combat skills , hence they are rejecting most kill missions.
If it was per agent (you`re supposed to be loyal to the agent, right?) it should have the opposite effect... but since we don`t know the formula, that`s pretty much speculation

Yeah I've thought of that as well...
But the standing losses are so big to be rejecting/failing missions on purpose, that I doubt it would be subject to such exploitability.
Anyway, a limit as to how big the lp ammount can get would easily solve this.

Originally by: j0sephine Aye, but you can reject a mission every couple hours without a penalty right? So few people with few alts could rack the money without any kind of drawback... ^^;
heh how many alts with lvl4 agents?
A simple cap would stop a crappy lvl1 agent giving 10000 lp's per mission O.o

If it's true then it would be very unfair to those runners that start running later on in the game. Basicly those that started on day 1 got lucky and the rest gets shafted.
You think I should change the title to something like "OMGWTF ZRAKOR WHAT`S GOING ON?"... seems to work
*sigh*

Originally by: Con Man I don't know, I have been getting around 3500 to 4300 lp per level 4 mission and around 2 mill isk. Granted most are long assed courier, but the kill missions have been plentiful. Haven't gotten one loot can from a BS Rat though. Did get some nice offers from him already (Some Caldari Navy Rocket Launcher Bpc's)
Yes... the only missions that still give lots of LP`s for me are elephantine haul and various deliveries (around 4700lp`s ) and those take usualy over an hour to finish alone. Thing is that the kill missions have pitiful lp rewards (around 500 lp`s) and the hard ones like pirate slaughter and extravaganza may take hours. It`s prett obvious that lp`s will just keep on decreasing since most ppl do kill missions.
