Pretty good
Could do with a little editing though IMO to make it better, but in the end, not required.

Can you expand on that? I really want construcitve criticism. What would you have wanted? Zooms on important aspects? "Bullet time" for crucial moments? More fancy transitions? Detailed list of ships on field?

I hate to be one of "those" people, but I can't get through this video because of player problems :/ Libavcodec skips, Xvid codec crashes, attempting to use VirtualDub to save an uncompressed version to run my own stax encode crashes on frame 136 with a divide by zero error in Xvid. playing back the MKV that you made also skips.
Shame, because this looks pretty good.

bloody stupid crappy forums.... anyways...
Would be nice to have a X vs Y overview, which is really the only editing i ever care about in a video.

What player are you using? If it is a non-standard one, try using Media Player Classic (my Favourite) or VLC player. Sorry for those issues.

Actually, Jaster as my most active test person had criticized their lack as well, but I figured that you can see my ship from the chat cover and the modules, and everything that I fight can be seen on screen.
Quite often, showing all opposing ships to begin with will foreclose the result, and a frame-precise state of participating ships (present/dead/left) is quite bit of work that I deemed not rewarding enough. The next video will be gang work though with some rather more complex fights, so that will have an overview of participants.

Tried both MPC and VLC, but later that night my video card completely died. Replacement card = problems gone. Doesn't solve the divide by zero, which I think may be related to some of the artifacting in the encode, but that's a more minor issue.
Some of the edits were pretty tight, particularly at the end of certain fights, where you put up commentary right at the closing. I kept having to pause the video and run it back to see what text I had missed. Obviously you don't want to show a pod in warp sitting there for 30 seconds, but I think there's a happy medium you can come to.
I would definitely do ship listings as well. We can see it on the overview but it just lends itsself to reading at a glance much easier. If you don't want to spoil a turn then just add the ships to the end of the list, no need to sort them in, and no need to show them coming the precise second they land on grid.
A quick and dirty way to show kills is just to layout your ships present field fully the way you want it, then duplicate it all and put it up on a layer above. Change the color to red or orange or whatever you decide, slice the clips along each time that a ship dies, then go back replace the names of ships that are still alive with spaces. The colored text will cover the original text perfectly because it's based off the same master clip and you don't have to mess around with special styling at each kill. I wouldn't worry about ships that ran away, it would be nice to do them up special, but ships present and ships killed are the most important.
I really liked the classical music choice as well. The first piece was great, the 2nd was ok, just felt a little empty in places.
You've got a lot of stuff in this one too, it almost may have been better to split it up into 2 separate videos (not that I particularly mind long ones). That may have given you room to slow down some of the fastest fights just a little bit more (or parts of them, as needed)

Yap, already on it. The (old) fight versus you is deep in the vault of clips that I will never ever show anyone though, so don't get your hopes up.

This reminds me: One of the credits is wrong. Ruslan and Ludmilla was not actually performed by The Vienna Horns but by their British colleagues from The London Horn Sound. Shame on me.

Really nice work, Miriam. Serious Business is one of my favourite Eve videos and this one really lived up to expectations. Damn you if I don't feel a very strong need to fit up a Maelstrom and go looking for those kind of fights.

Enjoyed the show, some nice fights there :)
Only real criticism would be that sometimes the ending comments on a fight were nigh unreadable w/o a quick pause, just a minor issue really though!
Hopefully find you out there some time

I've never fought you, but have fought Jaster a couple of times and was incredibly impressed by your corps ability. Indeed, back when I was a noob Matari Exodus gave me a hard lesson in PvP. And another time I learnt the price of not primarying Jaster in a three way fight XD

Really liked this. Think the music could use some work.. you went from a great Maiden track to some trashy symphonic metal later on. GUess there's no accounting for taste, and that's a very minor criticism anyway.

This might sound abit weird but I watched the video a few days ago and today I can't seem to remeber one of the songs. All I remeber about it was that it was very vocal. Now I can't simply look up the credits because I'm not home right now. If someone could tell me that we be great.

Sorry, I was out of town - I guess the most vocal would be Van Canto's Fear of the Dark.

Wow I didn't think anyone remembered my vid from way back. The banner I did in adobe aftereffects with the text moving in 3D. It was hard to get it to match up with the ship that well, I spent a couple hours tweaking it trying to figure that feature out.
