Just trying to patch SiSi (autopatcher failed multiple times) using a manual patch.... but it doesn't exist as far as I can tell.
Here's the link to the page that you start the download on, and here's the actual .exe file. Any suggestions are welcomed.

I would like this as well, when I try and use the auto patcher it ends up running the repair tool and trying to download the whole client.
Please give us the manual patch. none of us are free as long as one of us is chained none of us are free |

however the "Download TQ to Singularity Patch" link on this page http://www.eveonline.com/patches/patches.asp?s=singularity&test=&system=win
links to this file http://content.eveonline.com/test/evepremiumpatch214371-214773_test.exe
notice the lack of "_m" at the end of the filename .....

Thank you for once again linking the autopatcher .exe file that starts the repair tool (which, as I stated in the first post, hasn't worked properly). We're asking for the manual patch file, not that one.

edit: Attempting the SisiLauncher.exe from this link to see if that works. Will update with results.
Oops, yeah sorry I guess I should try stuff before running my mouth off.

NP, it happens to us all. We think we see the "obvious fix" that someone should have noticed... only to find out we missed the problem.
Currently at 20MB/1.43GB using the SiSiLauncher.exe option; here's hoping it finishes and works properly.

I'm on my 3rd try to see if I can get this to work, I usually get about 48-49% before it just quits pulling data.
CCP, any suggestions or a possible ETA on the manual patch?

The versions with the new character creation have pretty much all had the "dev-demo" branch name.
CCP, please make a manual patch for TQ -> SiSi now that you've updated sisi again.

Well Chruker now lists a "_m" patch for the latest SISI version
http://content.eveonline.com/test/evepremiumpatch214371-216164_test_m.exe
However that also launches the repair tool, checks everything and then decides to go away and download over 1.4 gb. Which craps out after 20% or so here.
I really hope this isn't the direction CCP want to take with all future patches. none of us are free as long as one of us is chained none of us are free |

Indeed, if it is, bye bye to ever getting into sisi again.

SisiLauncher is working fine for me. It updated my client from 214773 to 216164 with about 500MB of data. Mostly new textures for the character creation tool.
The server doesn't seem to accept so many connections right now though. Status: Online (10 players queued) Players: 179

manual patch apparently is just a copy of the autopatcher. which hasn't worked for me, ever.
Every time I use it, it gets to 'downloading rollsums: 100.0%', sits there for 20 minutes, then dies with "memory error" or value too large or whatever.

Just tried today's patcher, got the 'long int too large ....' error this time. It's very annoying that I have to download the full game client installer whenever I want to play on sisi now.

Try the Sisi Launcher. It's always working fine, at least for me. Public beta-test of Sisi launcher tool SisiLauncher.exe

The sisi launcher just runs the same patch... I always use the Sisi launcher. When it fails, I download the patch manually. When that fails, I have no choice but to download the whole client again.
I now have three copies of the full sisi client installer in my downloads folder. =/

Me too, don't like the idea of waiting 'till that patch will check my client, then download and apply fix, then check client again... instead of simply downloading and applying patch. |

..try repair.exe in the eve-test folder.. checks your sisi install against the repository and downloads only the needed files and patches them on the go, one by one. Did this for the last 3 times now and works like a charm. Don't think I'll ever go back to the manual patches, which I always used up until now.
PS: for this to work, you naturally have to have an sisi installation so either via manual TQ>Sisi patch or via the autolaunchertool. From there on the repair.exe should work all the time, as long as the repository is correct. support Public Idea Tracker | 24hr PLEX |

I suppose that this could work for SiSi but if this is an indication of where they're going with actual client patches, it's a disaster.
Since it's a test client, it will change often, and this kind of methodology lets them simply replace the files you're missing since you last patched, regardless of when that was and what version it was ù rolling back to older forks/builds no longer means you have to nuke the entire test install, since you can selectively figure out which files aren't the right ones.
However, if this style of patching were to hit TQ, I'd go nuts ù I have four different machines to patch with various combinations of 3 OSes on them, and right now that's easy as hell. Just remotely tell one of them to download two patches and apply them all in parallel when I get home. Simple. Done in a minute. If they want this "repair" style patching to be the only way to patch manually, I have to download and run the same thing 9 times. That's a huge waste of bandwidth, both their and mine, not to mention a huge waste of time.
àand yes, I've noticed the same fragility in the patching process as others in this thread. Having exactly one method of patching is not a good idea, because that means the whole system has exactly one point of failure as well. ùùù ôIf you're not willing to fight for what you have in ≡v≡à you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.ö ù Karath Piki |

Add another one wanting the manual patch. Already downloaded the full build 5 times atleast and every time get an error. The repair tool freezes on downloading stuff as does the sisi launcher. Same as for lots of people. |

Attempted to use the repair tool, autopatcher, everything and it all fails except it makes me wait 2 hours to download everything then fails at the very end. Please bring back the manual download so I don't have to re-download all this crap for hours and hours on end repeatedly. It's beyond ridiculous. HI! |

It still takes time to check the client, besides it's unlikely I'll download anything until someone confirms that sisi actually works on PC I usually use. |

I am having the same issues, the manual patch is not there and the auto patch ALWAYS fails for me. Whenever I run it, it runs the Eve Repair Tool, and all that does is download the whole game and after and hour and a half tells me that the download failed and I will have to try again....theres no way I can download and access the test server....
And still no word from CCP on this.....why?

The SiSiLauncher has to be run with administrator right to work correctly. So if some of you haven't run it like that, then try it. Another thing it could be is some problems with the cache. Try to locate %appdata%/Local/CCP/EVE . That's for windows 7 but I think it is the same for xp if you remove the "local" folder from the search string (maybe someone could confirm this). Found a couple of folders named singularity in there. Try to delete them. It should not be harmful in any way since everything probably is just cache and temp files. Then if I were you I would delete the whole SiSi installation folder and let the SiSiLauncher copy TQ over again and patch it up.
Hope it helps, at least for someone =)

Its not that the SISIlauncher does not start / launch correctly (at least for me) its that the thing crashes out of the download and / or checking process part way through.
Any how bump back to the top until some CCP person decides to comment.
