Alright. Well, I found out today that tech 2 ammo is apparently significantly better than top faction now. Which is both disheartening but exciting. That means mainstream users of ships can get the most gank for the best buck. It kind of makes me sad though because now everyone is on the same level. No more pay for power in the ammo department. >:(
Right, so I worked out a cute little Enyo that I think can easily take care of business. My Screaming Orgasm line of Enyos has always led to multiple killmails. This is honed towards balancing massive new gank with tank.
[Enyo, Screaming Orgasm] Magnetic Field Stabilizer II Adaptive Nano Plating II Damage Control II Small Armor Repairer II
1MN Afterburner II Faint Epsilon Warp Scrambler I
Light Neutron Blaster II, Void S Light Neutron Blaster II, Void S Light Neutron Blaster II, Void S Light Neutron Blaster II, Void S
Small Ancillary Current Router I Small Hybrid Burst Aerator II
Hobgoblin II x1
This does a cool 352 DPS in overload, while maintaining an afterburner velocity of 1137m/s in overload. I had the privilege of engaging an Ishkur tonight. He was pretty cool, we did our 1v1. I was about 10% cap and 50% armor when he was entering structure. I managed to hold on and pop him. Definitely a viable boat here. The afterburner keeps me a bit nervous while travelling through nosec, but I found the guy there and that was some twenty jumps in. When used wisely, a great solo ship.
Then of course, we have to make it my ship. The base I have flown and so far I must say I'm impressed. A little customizing and we're rockin.

When fitted with appropriate implants, this behemoth throws out an incredible 404 DPS (ZGS1000, Pashan.) Bearing 119 ATPS and a screeching 1260m/s, this is one tough little nut to crack. I can only imagine the screams coming from the enemies as the Enyo decimates entire enemy fleets by itself. A true challenger has arrived.

I kind have wanted to fly one of these. I thought about this fit, but I have no idea if it would work.

Right, mindless insults aside lets try some legitmate criticism.
The Enyo is not a good ship. We all know blaster range is bad, but when you couple that to a SLOW ship (the Enyo is slow by any standards) with no range dictation (no web) you should be having serious problems.
Now, while it's DPS output is undeniably impressive, the only setup you're ever realistically going to be able to bring that dps to bear against is something with ONLY an MWD and a scram. Virtually any other AB/Scram frig will be fast enough to kite you which a competent pilot should realise is the correct thing to do when dealing with an Enyo. MWD/long point and you're screwed, AB/Web/Scram and you're screwed, AB/Long point/Web and you're screwed.
That Ishkur you fought for example. If he actually decided to get in blaster range you have to assume that he was using the standard Ions/MWD/point/web setup. If he then decided to get in hug range of an Enyo he deserved to die. Anyone with a brain woulda sicked their warriors on you and then stayed as far the hell away from you as long as they possible could. Or even better used a decent fit and sat at warp disrupter range laughing as your slow ass point blank range fragile as hell "Screaming Orgasm" died to a flight of warriors.

Both your fits do 20 DPS from your Hobgoblin at ~5500 meters.
How this doesn't seem to be a problem to you is astounding.

The Enyo is not a good ship.
If you ignore any ship issues and the forgotten nos, the biggest problem is the _huge_ exp hole.
I wouldn't touch any mim ships and anything with warrior 2's would eat it for lunch.
Better to drop 2 neutrons to ions and swap the acr for a resist rig.

So much love for you here on the forums Sig!
Regardless what folks say the Enyo (after the Taranis) is my second fav ship to fly. It might not be the best AF or even the best Gallente AF, but its red with a nice long spike, it can fit a rack of Neutrons and is a snip at like 9 mil a pop currently.
Your expensive pinata fit is fun when you got the isk to burn I'm sure, but like others have said if you're solo you're very vulnerable to a lot of other ships/standard fits, and you'd probably want to restrict pvp to gates/stations/wormhole entrances to avoid being kited (even a smart kestral could do it - the shame of dying to that).
Look me up sometime if you want to run an Enyo op or something fun since they work best as a small group IMHO. You can tank fit it like a beast (dual reps, cap booster!), nano-DPS it, ot do the pretty standard AB fit you linked. All viable in the right situation, and fun to fly despite the almost certain doom at the hands of a few canes.

Only dps, at the cost of both range, tracking (neither of which should be an issue on a suicide frig) and cap (which is the pain) :P

Well, I want to examine that.
Void S - 25% less tracking, 25% more cap, 50% less falloff, 25% MORE optimal. Navy S - 00% less tracking, 00% less cap, 00% less falloff, 00% LESS optimal.
That makes our effective range:
Void S - 2.5 + 1.6 (4.1) = 64% optimal engagement Navy S - 1.7 + 3.1 (4.8) = 35% optimal engagement
DISCOVERY: You are less likely to hit for full damage with Navy S than Void S in a standard engagement (if you are having real trouble, Null S only gives you up to a ~8km range, which is still pretty bad anyway.) Now, we know there are tracking penalties involved with Void, but if you are a competent pilot you are lining up with the target as much as possible. Also, let's talk about how everybody "kites" you. I'm certain that everybody here knows that if you're in say, a Brutix, you don't engage a Raven and expect to win. Bad matchup, right? Well, I'm certain there are bad matchups for this ship to.
My point is that this ship slings more DPS than any other non-faction frigate, no bones about it. When used appropriately, and when selected for only the best engagements this ship is a nasty guy with plenty of power on its side. The distinct lack of web ensures that it engages only in certain fights, and that makes it a prize and a real gem in those fights where it can participate, or solo off a target.
That's all.

I do not understand why you do not have a MWD on it?
How will you get hold of trgets? How will you escape targets? How do you deal with a MWD cruiser? --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

An equally lol'tasticly fit Wolf will do 355 overheated with faction ammo, and 360 with Hail. And it's faster than your Enyo, as well as having better damage projection. And covers its explosive hole.
I still wouldn't fly it.
