the mega definetly wasnt set for mining the apocs howeve i dont know !
cruisers also fighters !

remember my 1st day in eve I was jumped by some odd ship called a rave, I was in my ibis....he fired some Big missiles at me, called torpedos I belive, but thx to my basic mining laser only hafl of them hit me,. but my tank was easy able to keep up with damages, and my civilian cannon killed him in like 10sec, then I was jumped by 5 apocs that went down in 2 sec each....every1 get Ibis of DOOm

I had one too, but then I decided to tank the entire Yulai Concord fleet in it, and the GMs took it away.
They don't make 'em like that anymore. But I hear the Eagle is almost as good...

Hey, I know this guy too. He is pretty darned good with anything he uses.
It is however pretty retarded for anyone to say that setup a fight with 2 BS vs 1 HAC. Now that they know its an HAC.. they dont even need to fit BS weapons. Just put in 2-3 Heavy NOS each.. grab a hold of some drones and web. Its over.
I dont doubt that the guy can take out 2-3 BS with his HAC. Heck, I have seen killmail of him taking out a fighting setup Tempest with his Brutix while a Moa was trying to support the Tempest.
However, this kind of thing doesnt work when you tell the other person what ship you are bringing. SETUP Duels of ships is pretty retarded.
Setup a duel.. but dont say what you will bring.

HAC's are no problem to kill in a scorpion using EW it's simple..
Warp scam, Web, Jam, Nos, Torps... = Dead HAC

no matter how good the eagle pilot, the only way i see this happening is if the battleship pilots were afk.... otherwise they'd clearly just warp off if they were losing as the eagle doesnt really do the scrambling thing.... unless the battleship pilots were complete muppets that is
unless ofc it had a ceptor or 2 scrambling for it, but then it wasnt really just the eagle that killed them....
and might i add, lol

well considering that I can tank a 2 BS spawn with an enyo (barely but I can if I keep moving with an ab), think they can fair pretty well

Yeah the HAC is fantastic kit for certain jobs. BS will always be the daddy, but a novice in a BS would be easy pickings for a zealot, but i had ago against a corp m8 not firing back and got stuck on his armour, he was running a large accomodation and a medium tech 2, but he also admitted that if id used missles as well on my SAC, it may have been a diff story. and my gunnerys maxed lev 5 everything and also the spec skills.
I dont know about u but i always feel vulnrable in a BS cos ther slow and take ages to move etc, in a HAC your nimbleish and hard hitting. The other night we had a 10 ceptor gang comming now if id have gone in my BS id prob have not hit half of em, but in the Zealot you can hit close and a far from like 8k to 55k
My 2 favorites at presnt are my zealot and Vagabond, Vagabond cos its fast and has missles Zealot cos it fires quick and hard

Dude we would pwn you with no NOS, just accept the fact it was a lame claim and move on. You'd probably kill a couple of the Cruisers or one BS if EVERYTHING went in your favour and we were all drunk before you died. tbh I doubt you live longer than 30 seconds though ..... your claim gave me a laugh for what its worth though so fair play
Jason the Minmatar ones are ok. I solo killed a Megathron (combat fitted) in my Vagabond .... his 425mm Rails dont hit you too well when you orbit at 5km and bring the pain with autocannons and Id put my Munninn up against most Amarr ships any day of the week.
For npc'ing you would need to tailor your HAC choice to the rat type ie my Muninn could probably happily take on most Sansha or Blood spawns but I wouldnt consider using it for Angels or Guristas etc.
