Okay, let's fix it CCP, let's try it for a week, let's put the server into what im calling a ghost phase. Here is what you will need to do.

All industrial ships will need to be removed
All blueprints will need to be removed
All star bases will need to run on PI only goods, no wait, ud need blueprints for that, no, remove starbases fuel needs.
Change all empire 0.5-0.9 except for RENS/AMARR/DODXIEI/JITA and leave those as 1.0 systems for market hubs

You will need to seed all ships/modules at set prices.

You will need to remove refining as industry is no longer needed.

And Then we will see how this will go down with your *real* player base, not the 25% vocal majority

So CCP, lets try it out, lets do what they want, lets change EVE to pure PVP sov games, no industry, no mining, no missions, no incursions, nothing that makes ISK *easily* and make everything hard and serious *RISK VERSES REWARD* and see what happens.

EvE == Everyone vs Everyone....

There are many, many forms of competition here....

The core of EvE is not ship vs ship violence, but economic competition.... You compete with market orders, you compete for resources, you compete in almost every aspect of this game.... There are very few actions you can partake in which don't adversely affect your neighbor... I've seen people mine roids out from one another, there's the blatantly obvious market competition (which is the cumulative product of all industry competition), and there is space dominion (which is the combat you refer too).

The reason highsec carebears get a bad name, is because they often want to partake ONLY in the economic side of the competition while be immune to the space domination game (ship pew pew). That's akin to playing civilization with all forms of aggression turned off!!!! Both economic and military influence should play a huge role, and you shouldn't be immune to one form just because you don't want too.
