OK it is getting rather pathetic people. One ship with not particularly stellar damage potential. Which damage gets mitigated by OMG simple movement In ANY direction, that was being made fun of by no clue everyone. [including the super pvp analysts from alliance tourney ]
After 2 Years of lol Caldari missiles shield blah blah blah they finally figure out how to use them and we have a legion of whiners nerf nerf nerf.
I have better now Nerf Zealot it gets more dmg then my Cerberus it is instant range switches while having twice the EHP with almost half the signature radius. NERF
All the other only other HAC's worth flying is the Vaga and IF you are drone guy Ishtar those have their special role. All the others [note which race's both] are inferior to the Zealot. NERF

about the first comment about zealots being op is aload of rubbish as firstly yes it can change range instantly by missiles dont need to as you it the target just the same from 2 km to 15 km or what ever secondly the zealot has fixed damage types. the caldari can switch to what ever ship is weakest. plus the further away from the zealot you are the less dps it does as the longer ranged crystals do less damage so you are wining on about nothing really

Hey you might want to look at 99% of caldari missile boats, they have kinetic damage bonuses...
(Yeah one can ignore the bonus but I can hardly see the HUGE advantage to that  )

Take a bit longer to kill him?
Also leave the drake alone. It's a nice ship for noobs as you can get in an effective pve one with literally all level 4 skills and when you pimp your skills out its turns into a very nice little pvp boat. If you want to rage about anything rage at the nullsec guys who are only using them because they are dirt cheap and **** off ccp due to the missile spam induced server strain.

It takes a bit more than some whining in forums for CCP to nerf something. Sure, they might take a serious look at whatever is the FOTM at the time for flying and whining about, but unless something is wrong after running the numbers they just ignore the whining - and behold - whining will die off eventually about that ship/item as counter will be found to it by the players.
Now if there is no counter available then CCP will do something about it eventually. Stuff that makes people unhappy like the great mothership nerf (the one few years back), the great nano nerf or yanking the carpet out under Titan AoE style doomsday.

If choosable damage types are so great, then why was that myrm not pounding your em/explosive hole with (fully bonused) drones in said 1v1?
And tanking for both therm/em is not as easy as say tanking for kinetic (easier to get one resist higher than two)

NERF THE NERF DRAKE THREADS!
I recently came up against a Nerf Drake thread but then realized he wasn't alone - it was a BLOB of Nerf drake threads putting out nearly 600 whines per second while managing to harvest tears at an amazing rate due to having help from CCP, patching them up and making them feel good. Especially those CCP posts about Missile lag!
Nerf the drake threads are FAR too powerful and should be nerfed; I'm sorry to say it but it's true. Nerf 'em CCP otherwise I'll cancel my sub!

Only idiots ever thought the Drake was a bad pvp ship. Just like they also think the Raven is a bad pvp ship. It's a stigma not based in any sort of reality.

Yeah those are the same idiots that do now make the Nerf drake threads.
Oh yeah and some of them were also commentators on alliance PVP tournaments 
May they make the threads as well.

There is a sad truth to what you have to say there about how close the Drake is to the Nighthawk. It makes it pointless to fly a NH over a Drake considering the cost involved. But then, the same can be said of the Sleipnir and Absolution. They're too close in effectiveness to tier 2 BCs to justify the cost of field command ships. The only one this can't be said of is the Astarte, and that's not because it's necessarily better than the Myrm, but because they're so different.
Boost Field Command ships. Give me a reason to want to bring an Abso to a fleet instead of a Harb. Give me a reason to want to bring a NH over a Drake. Give me a reason to want to bring a Sleipnir over a Cane. Please, CCP.
