Here my old Tread with facts and the answers of ignorants of the IPCC followers.
And here the newest articel with a scients of the IPCC :
Quote: CANBERRA, Dec. 29 (Xinhua) -- Near-record floods in Australia and a big chill in the northern hemisphere does not mean global warming is fading away, Australia's Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO) scientist said on Wednesday.
Eastern Australia is experiencing one of its wettest-ever second six months on record, while Europe and North America have been deluged by severe snowstorms and freezing conditions.
According to Barry Hunt, an honorary research fellow at the CSIRO's Marine and Atmospheric Research unit, even if there is another cold snap global temperatures will continue to rise.
"Over the last century, the global mean temperature has gone up by 0.8 degrees (Celsius)," he told ABC Radio on Wednesday, adding that was due to global warming.
"But at the same time, we also have natural climatic variation, and you don't get one or the other, you get them both. They interact."
Hunt has found that there still will be cold snaps up to 2050 even with greenhouse warming, and he maintained that the scientific basis for global warming is "very sound".
He said the basic long-term trend over the next 100 years is for a steady global warming, and Australia will expect to see rainfall decline, and there will be a long-term drying trend over most of Australia.
CSIRO makes the IPCC reports. Who is the troll now ? The rest is religion. You believe on global warming or not, but sure we will have a fall on global temps in the next 40 years.

I envisage more storms with global warming. The OP is correct insofar as there are different weather effects of climate change. Colder weather with also hot weather. There are weather patterns in particular parts of the world that are effected by weather patterns elsewhere.
I beleive that the oceans of the world are gigantic heat capacitors. Its my guestimate that the effects of carbon emissions of heating the oceans create an intertia effect that has decades of lag. Say the world massively cutt carbon emissions the lag effect of warmer water in the oceans will take decades to translate into less climate change.
And the world itself irrespective of human carbon emmisions has weather cycles that cycle over tens of thousands of years.

You are incorrect; one can be excommunicated for numerous reasons.
Also, excommunication, aka ecclesiastical censorship, is not something that is isolated to the Catholic Church, not that you implied that. One can be excommunicated from any Christian religion. Technically speaking one can be excommunicated from any society or organization and most religious institutions have some level of ecclesiastical censorship.

from what i understood the icelandic volcano eruption during the summer is the reason why europe has had a colder than normal winter.
the ashes and gases released by the volcano altered the normal flow of air currents.
this effect have been seen before in the past when other volcanoes erupted.

While it has has some impact the eruption this time was not large enough. What has happened is the jet streams are not in the normal positions which is causing cold air to be driven south, moist air to be brought over the east of the USA resulting in more snow and warmer than normal air in russia causing ice rain.
It is a natural event and lasts for a few years before returning to normal.

Man its over 60 degrees outside right now when its supposed to be in the low teens historically.
Gogo global warming!
But seriously what I think has messed up so many peoples perception of the event is that the original scientists made the mistake of calling it global warming instead of global climate change which is really whats going on. Various places are going to get extremes in both directions as the global climate tries to stabilize. For all we know this warming trend just might kick off a new ice age if the ones talking about the gulf stream getting knocked out by freshwater snowmelt around greenland have any real basis for their theorys.
Tbh we just don't have enough observable data at this time to predict this to a fine degree even though our scientific prowness has exploded nearly expotentially over the last 50 years.

Meh. There are less than 1000 learjets in service so their contribution to global climate change is minimal at best. The recent volcano in iceland probably put out more harmful gasses than the entire worlds airlines put together for a year or probably much longer.

Quick, somebody tax that volcano!
Global warming is religion for those who have none. Humans have a desire to believe in some cause greater than themselves and belong to a group. It's part of our genetics. As we get less religious we're going to come up with all sorts of silly ways to fill that void.
It's unfortunate that the two alternatives we've managed to make up so far, Global Warming and Scientology, are so utterly annoying.

We already belong to a group called humans. No need for other groups. Have you noticed how other groups promote separation instead of unity? :)
Its all a game of controlling the minds of the people...the only way to win is to not participate in it. Hope that makes sense. :)

Indeed, because for the ruling class to stay in the position they are, they need the populous to be segregated not united.

Yea but the irony is rather good.
As for the volcano, it was only a small eruption, they happen just about every year somewhere around the world. The only reason it was big news was because it happened in a bad place.
