I, for one, am excited to suggest that EVE should adopt an arena system (like WoW) and maybe some leaderboard rankings (BF3 anyone?) and a PVP flag (WoW feature). Going into the direction of World of Warcraft would be pretty sweet and maybe we could get modules with purple colors from instanced incursions or something. It would be awesome! I am the Kingpin of the Crime and Punishment forum. I am the rightful heir to the CSM 8 throne.

Nah, officer mods suck. We need to have cool things that add more to stats like +5000 armor hp and +300 damage and stuff like that. Something like Damsel at Distress or something where you have to kill evil pirates and save some prostitute. We need to revamp those horrible stories and get some really good stories in like the ones in Call of Duty. I am the Kingpin of the Crime and Punishment forum. I would like to hear some real arguments as to why this wouldn't be a good thing without mentioning wow, knowing that the mear thought of that game turns peoples stomachs. "But if you take pvp away from low/null sec"... No it wouldn't it would introduce noobs to pvp and enforce the idea that losing ships is a natural part of eve.

Why not, people are already doing this in some sense. Eve radio would love it. It would give corporations/alliances, hosts and such the tools to conduct what they are already doing in a much more pro way than they are now. What i don't think is needed is the wow version, that it spins a whole own game from it. It should just be tools for people already doing turnaments and arena like stuff.
