Edited by: Cergorach on 06/01/2011 00:10:40 I'm currently heavy into PI/trading and again I find myself short a bit in trading capital. I would like to double my PI activities and that is pretty much going to take my own current trading capital. Trading capital out of the bond will only be used for trading (so there will always be 2B in buy/sell orders or stock in stations), after a week the trading capital would be minimal 2.2B until the end of the Bond.
Will payout 2.2B isk in one month time. I would prefer a single investor.
No collateral, I'm currently using most of my resources to make more isk, putting it up for collateral is counter productive and unprofitable for me.
I've been around for a long while, I haven't scammed (yet) and scamming for this amount with my own name attached isn't exactly worth it.
If you don't know me and don't trust me, don't invest. I have no interest in doing business with someone who doesn't want to...
Previous bonds (complete): Bond#1 500M isk Bond#2 2B isk
Edit1: Bond currently reserved for Tiswas (previous investor).

You should work better on your rep grinds Cergo. You have almost no writeup in any of your bonds, and you denied an investor the possibility to invest for a specific investor you've had no obvious contact with on your second bond. Not to mention no audits, no questions asked on any of your threads. Hmm...

To me the above statement looks equivalent to
Originally by: theoretical quote As soon as the pile of isk is big enough i'm going to run away with it.
Am I the only one who sees this or am I just way more paranoid than most people?

I personally don't see any reason to even address the possibility of a scam, when one is writing an offering prospectus here on MD. It's not like a premeditated scammer is ever going to intentionally out himself, so even asking the question and any responses to it may as well be skipped entirely. At least that's my perspective.

So what? this is one of the best assurances of safety - at least as long as we can be reasonably sure that Cergorach believes he will be able to raise more money on MD in the future.
Sadly, posts like yours might make him doubt this.^^

Isk received.
I had liquid isk laying around doing nothing and didn't have time to play the game. So I choose to drop some money into these bonds.
I've seen Cergorach around before and felt like taking a risk.
Worked out ok.

@Lethal Entrepreneur: I must be doing something really wrong with the rep grind, I've been doing it for years! [/sarcasm]
I don't do audits for Bonds, if I where ever to do an IPO, sure. I guarantee a fixed return rate for my Bonds, so I do not see any reason for folks to browse my personal information, it's not like that has stopped anyone from scamming before.
As for 'denying' an investor, I outlined my preference for a single investor in the initial post. Tiswas was the person who came up with the full amount, so he was the person I went with.
I also prefer doing business with folks that trusted me before with their isk, so I think it's only fair to give them a first shot at new opportunities.
As for using (yet), a bit of humor never hurt anyone, a wink to your kind of crowd.
@Edwin Rothbard: Your certainly not as paranoid as some other that hang around these forums.
There is no danger of the isk amount I ask for in a Bond to ever get high enough for me to even think about scamming. It's just not worth it in regards to future earning within the game and without. Even 3 trillion isk only has a RL value of ~Ç126.000, selling that amount of isk to an RTM would net you maybe half or a third of that amount, that's maybe a years salary. The safeguard is that the handle 'Cergorach' has been linked to my RL identity for over a decade, I'm not risking my reputation for some petty cash, especially when my RL business is based on my good reputation.
@Two Shots: I agree with you to a certain degree, a 5 day old character might not have the trust to hold a few billion that a 5 year old character has.
@Cyaxares II: You can't please every one, and I have decided that I do not need to pander to characters like Lethal and Edwin, half the time folks like that are trolling and demanding more and more time spent on insuring security on the investment, not realizing that if said time was spend grinding isk I could make most of the isk myself.
The Bonds I offer are certainly not there only for their benefit, I want to make additional isk of the Bond isk and I offer decent compensation for the Bond amount I use. I do not want to do business with folks that don't trust me.
