After proudly serving the Ushra'Khan for the past two years, the Universal Army [UARM] is pleased to announce it has joined the Minmatar Militia in the tireless struggle against the Amarr.
Slaying slavers and pirate scum since 2003, UARM has relocated its forces to Heimatar and will commence hostilities this week. Now that CVA has been removed from Providence and the U'K is rebuilding inside the Great Wildlands, the move is seen as a strategic reallocation of military resources that best serves the immediate needs of the Minmatar people in the war against the Amarr.
Contrary to rumor and speculation, UARM did not leave the U'K due to disputes with the current leadership. UARM has enjoyed serving the U'K and has destroyed over 9,000 Amarr ships during it's tenure - landing the corp in the number six position of all-time overall kills in the long history of the Ushra'Khan. This is a proud accomplishment for us - not just because of the number of enemy ships destroyed - but because these were blows for liberty.
We will never forget that the U'K is more than its leaders or members. The Ushra'Khan is an ancient and venerable cathedral of hope, which has housed countless tribes over the years, tribes of every stripe and flag, of every creed and persuasion, including those with conflicting ideologies - but all bound together with the single belief that freedom is an inalienable right of all men, and is one of the few precious things in this world worth dying for. And every pilot in UARM shares that belief.
We wish to express our best wishes to the Ushra'Khan. We hope the process of rebuilding will be swift and sure. And we encourage new members of this honorable alliance to remain faithful to the cause while never flinching in your obligation to express your vision for the future - a future which will surely be as glorious as its storied past.
All hail Ushra'Khan, the first alliance of freedom, the original beacon of liberty, the mother of freedom fighters throughout New Eden. You will be missed.
And now, with the Minmatar Militia, we resume the good fight against slavery, against religious fascism, against all the hatred and fear that is incarnated in the wretched forces of the Amarr. Once again, we will go the distance. We will not quit until all our people are free. And we will not fail.
