A 100 man blob just kills normal ECM ships before they can do anything. That's why we need remote ECM. It will let the elite pvpers fight outnumbered and win.
It's going to give everyone more good fights!

If ECM ships are getting ganked before they can do anything, then that indicates that they pose a large threat.
Therefore, they do not need a boost.

Same can be said for remote ECM.
Also nobody mains an off grid gang booster, thats strictly an alt role.
So what you are saying is that's its perfectly balanced for the opposition to have to pay for a second account to balance things out. |

I can see why some blobbers think this would be overpowered, but true elite pvpers only need one ECM ship to win.
Therefore offgrid ECM should be limited to 1 ship per gang. This will make it perfectly balanced. |

Nice attempt, but ultimately flawed, as ECM and fleet boosting scale differently with different-sized engagements, and as such really can't be compared in this manner.

Not what I am saying at all. I am saying that the side that can field the most effective fleet wins. Whether effectiveness means numbers, or a particular ship type, varies from fight to fight. The fact that CCP allows people to sub multiple accounts has nothing to do with it. While you can whine about dual boxers boosting fleets, I invite you to dual box pvp. It's not easy at all. If you spot one you should be thinking "free vulture kill" instead of complaining... |
