I agree most of the xetic guys I come across were a good laugh. Just one or two spoilt it for the rest. (mainly the guys who didnt fight or ran off)

Have to say that Celestrial Horizon currently have us locked in one system. Theres about 25-30 of them and 3 of us lol. Overkill???

Lemme rephrase, Right now it's 27 total kills, 14 of them being podkills. I normally just add the pods right in with total kill count, so sorry bout' that. DDC is still just registering the loss of one kestrel thus far. Those numbers are 100% accurate basically because I've been online with all the involved pilots at the time of each engagement personally assuring they're placed in the tracker.
There have been a few really fun fights, I must admit now that the adrenaline has left my system. Right off the start two of us in crows took down a thrasher that went kicking and screaming the whole way, had to keep doing strafing runs on it to keep from getting owned by the 250 howie's. One of our guys took on a rifter and a thrasher solo in his jaguar and ended up winning. My favorite was last night jumping into sobaseki though, engaging a solo rifter, then seeing a crow and another rifter drop out of warp at the same time. Thank goodness for warp scrambling technology, cause I tried to run, but had to stay and fight, and I'll be damned if I didn't kill em all  .

I just wanna the guys who camped me in Ish for 6 hours nearly you know who you are, the fighter after when i got out was fun and a good laugh thought you had me when i tryed to get through the gate shame me mate lost his crow but me rifter is fine :). Look forward to it again.

Yea we're getting camped in systems, yea we're being podded left right and centre and yes we're losing ships, OH and yes.....we're putting up with your smacktalk (Not including Celestrial Horizon). However, we ALL are really enjoying it whatever you think. We KNOW we can't beat your alliance and we won't win but we do know that when we decide we've had enough or run outta money (whatever comes first) we can stop the war.
Your all saying how you've taking a number of kills yet made 28 or whatever it is but lets chuck some maths into the equation:
If I remember correctly you have in the region of 4407 members compared to our 20 members. Therefore, for every 1 Shadow Squadron member you have 220 . Shock horror, why the blazes are Shadow Squadron still in the game after about 38 hours of active war time?
Now lets look at the ship kills. You say you've made 27 kills, NOT pod kills, just destroyed ships. 27 Kills divided between the ratio ( didnt pass maths first time by the way so it might show here) which is 220:1. SOOOOO.....27kills/220members= 0.12 per member in that 220 group (lets just say you blew the paint of a shuttle). As for Shadow Squadron, say we've made 8 kills (and thats being nice) that would mean 8/20= 0.4 ships per member, so , thats ALMOST half a ship (or shuttle in this case).
I won't go into pod kills as that going to confuse me. I imagine the above is incorrect, however if it's right yay , long live Shadow Squadron. If it's wrong then hurry up and put some effort into the war.

Let's be realistic though.
We're offering many many more targets than you and, as such, you're bound to score more kills. We have to wait for you guys to come out of your safespots before we can get a shot at you  but I think that's all part of your tactics to wait us out then slash at our flanks when we get bored and move along.
Still, from the reaction in corp/alliance chat, you've definitely livened things up and hey, some of our fresh raw recruits are getting in some good practice.

I have been thinking, we should arrange a battle royale with Xertic and select a place where Shadow Squadron and Xertic corp members can meet and have a big scrap. Of course as this is an arranged battle, even numbers would be applied.
The two groups of ships (all frigs) would randomly gang warp to planets of the system untill they meet to randomise the advantage a little (no moons). War would ensure untill the last man/men standing, where the winner is then declared for that event.
Of course we would ask at least there are even numbers and that while the battle is in progress no other ships save the ones entered may join in the fun.
Here are some examples of rules that would make sense here. See what you think of them then add your own, Please no silly ones. :)
Warping away or loging will mean disqualifacation.
The last men or man standing of the winning corp/alliance are declared the victors of that battle.
Only frig ships can be used. Thats everything with a frig hull, interceptors or assault ships included.
No joint jackpots. The corp/alliance may offer a cash or item prize to their own members but not to the other side.
To select the system Xertic will select one letter then SS will select the second letter then Xertic the third letter for the automap search. A system will be agreed upon. If there is no agreement or the results are null a reroll will occour.
As nothing is agreed upon please don't take this as scripture, if you like the idea or want to add to it, say so and maybe we could arrange something.

Btw, I notice that our podkill ratio is very high (maybe like 90%), is that intentional (fast way back to a new frig)? Doesn't that cost a lot in the long run? I mean, you loose a ship that costs 200k and a clone that costs 1-2 mill?
How much did you pay to start the war btw?
Cool fighting you, only too bad you are so hard to find :(

To answer your question: pod appear on your opponent's screen before appearing on yours. So yeah, basicly the amount of podkills is atm quite high.

It was not meant in any bad way, i know it's easier to kill pods now in exodus, but we've never had this many pod kills before. That's why i'm wondering if they do it on purpose to get back to a new frig fast and have more fun :)

To be honest with you no we dont i hate being podded just as much as the next guy. The pod kills are they because you guys are good at getting are shoots in fast so fair play to them on that part.
I just wanna appologise to the guy i killed tonight you know who i mean i kinda feel bad about it as i have had it done to me before in that situation, anyhows i'm having funand tempted to take that Osprey pilot on next time that seems to be everywhere i go - lmao ... only i saw what you did to my mates Crow today nice kill by the way.

Well, be careful with those Ospreys mate. CLS has a pretty 1337 structure tanking setup that I wouldn't want to square off against, and Talons is certainly not to be messed with in one.
Seriously though, I really wish this thread would die. I do wish you guys all the best with this war and all, but I think out of the 6 PvP'ers that Xetic has, only 2 or 3 of them are in empire hunting you. The rest are just a mining ops that you guys keep running into.
CLS has had our share of battles from 20 - 40 players corps, and yes, they were fun. But we didn't need to update the entire community on kill/loss ratio or where the battles are taking place... It's not like this war is causing groundbreaking developments in Xetic inter-alliance policy. I'm sure if any of our guys actually take the time to hunt you all down (in Kehour) for PvP, that everyone has fun. At the very minimum it would be a regurgitation of training on how to assemble a sniping Tempest or a Sniperthron.
But the simple fact of the matter is that you will always be outnumbered and outgunned. This really is not an issue at all since you knew this would be a known constant before this declaration took place. We simply outnumber you, and to not use teamwork and our sheer number advantage would just be an insult. It should be embarassing for Xetic to lose ships to this outside of our number ratio.
I'm with other fellow Xetic members though, you guys have it made. It's a lot more fun to be on your side than on ours. We actually have to hunt down targets, where as you guys could just hit and run across all of empire choosing any engagement you wanted, greatly swaying this kill/loss ratio.
It's your $15/mo mate, so feel free to wage war till your heart, and wallet, are content. But please guys (everyone), could we just end all the silly updates? SS will always be outnumbered 30 to 6 wherever you go in empire by sheer default.
The best part of this thread was Waagaa/Hatepeace, and that's just kinda sad (still).

I personally think this thread is only kept going so we can talk to the Xetik pilots outof game. Its good to talk to the flashing red targets instead of just shooting them.
I have found you guys to be nice people to fight due to the good nature of you all. If you are not interested in the thread dont read it. But im sure some of your guys are. Infact there are a few that even talk to us on our own forum aswell.
Its been fun for both sides, lets keep it going :)
