In other Australian news the death tole has risen in the wider Queensland region, South Australia is facing severe and out-of-season weather, parts of Western Australia are experiencing their worst droughts on record, and the Northern Territory is enduring monsoonal flooding of a similar magnitude to QLD.
Though I hear Tasmania is totally fine! (Not that anyone cares about the Australian analogy for Canada.. Joooooooooking)
Preceding events also dropped value of the Aus dollar agaisnt the U.S. today, now it's worth around 98 U.S. cents..
And I used to think climate extremes were cool.. EVE Trivia EVE History

It wasn't God, he'd have sent a tornado to wipe out a trailer park in the bible belt of the US

I've never been there but I have relatives who live there (luckily on a mountain).
I feel very sorry for the Aussies and hope that their situation will improve.
Those movies how fast the water came out of nowhere in car-bowling strength are pretty scary. |
