I am of the opinion that CCP will continue the trend they started with the Primae/Noctis so with that said I think they will make the Echelon into a usable hull in the future. I would like to hear some predictions on what you think the hull's role will be.
My thoughts run to either:
1) a deicated exploration ship/science vessel given all of the antennae and the spinning "radar dish"
or
2)an anti-cloaking interdiction type vessel that emits an anti-cloak pulse. There has beena rather vocal anti-afk cloaking minority that has been screaming for something like this for quite some time.
Does anyone want to join me in some good natured conjecture?

I think that it would make a rather nice;
A) Dedicated Cyno-Frigate to replace the Cyno-Kestrel.
B) How about a long range D-Scan boat, capable of looking into neighboring systems?

How about they make it a CONCORD faction cov ops ship like the other four races but instead give it some nice bonuses that make it a little bit different.
Not too much though.

Now... i like to get prezzies as much as the next person but...
A box without content is still an empty box... no matter how nice the wrapping is.
I know, i know, i shouldn't be so ungratefull, but why not make it something a lil more usefull in te future? like a faction shuttle with double speed or a specialized mwd or something?
I didn't even bother to undock it, it's just... sitting there...
I know ccp is afraid about releasing some gamebreaking thing, but i can think of a ton of things that would be usefull but not gamebreaking at all.
