It's a thursday... and less than 1 week notice... is it a national holiday I've missed or something?
Not that it'd surprise me, I usually gets told these things 1 day ahead or something : "I'm off tomorrow? huh? ok!"

You should come to Newcastle.
Excellent pubs/clubs and we have a booming games development culture.

Why do Newcastle girls wear so little when they go out in the cold to the pubs/clubs?

It's a North-East tradition to wear summer clothing during winter, y'know.
It's because we're all so poor that we can only choose one seasonal wardrobe

If you guys want to have a convention of sorts, get on a British Airways or Virgin flight to Las Vegas, NV (USA). Non-stop flights leave daily from London. I hear all of you talk about the girls in Newcastle; they couldn't even come close to the bartenders, servers, or strippers in Vegas! In sum, these girls make over $100,000(US) with no education and a $5,000 enhancement to their bodies. Looks like a pretty good profit margin to me. Oh yeah, if you ever do come out this way, have fun at the airports with your non-US forms of ID...George W Sends his regards.

Screw Canada, all you have is polar bears and ice. Come to good ole US of A where the our dollar is becoming about as useful as toilet paper and we have more strippers than candians all together! w00t!
Not true, we've got awesome beer, and our strippers actually strip

Yes, us Swedes have a long tradition of visiting Denmark, we buy their booze, sing loudly in their streets, barf in their street corners and generally making fools out of ourselves. Danes doesn't like it for some odd reason, they're a bit boring that way.
you are swedish
ahh that explains a LOT

we norwegians do that too
but I get the feeling that norwegians go to sweden to do that... when it comes to prices its denmark > sweden > norway

Don't you mean Denmark < Sweden, etc? Else why would Swedes come here to drink if the booze was more expensive?

The presentation was great. Thank you CCP and Lekjart for stopping by. At the presentation we saw a powerpoint slideshow of the history of EVE and what are planned in the long run. Futhermore (and this was truely awsome) we saw Lekjart start an EVE cluster on his laptop and gave a demonstration of planetary flight in different enviroments. A short presentation of Tech 3 modules was shown as well.
Once again - Thanks.

I managed to snuck up to LeKjart after the presentation and poke him a bit about a wallet export feature.
He seemed genuinely suprised it was not in (as he recalled it *had* been) "It's so easy to do" (his words!)
Without him making any actual promises (except in 'spirit' ) we kinda agreed that a comma seperated export file would be just fine.
We'll see.... Heres hoping... BIG Lottery

Doh!
Just noticed this topic and .. at page three there was a summary. I so wanted to see and chat with other EVEians IRL.
And Wrangler, I'd hire you as my scout making sure I'd arrive at the right place in time. Went to a job interview in Copenhagen some months ago and got completely lost in Copenhagen. No job for me there.
