Hai thurr,
afaik during incursions no normal missions can be done/ loot and salvage are close to 0 etc.
I was wondering why there is no significant rise in demand for the obvious t1-mission-salvage. Even post noctis-release this should hurt the amount of salvage received from missions. FYI: I bought a supply of various salvageparts and am not really trying to manipulate, as I am sure I'm right - just the why not others-part interests me.
Pls not trolls, CAOD is that way ->

Lies. You can do missions. Just limited bounties and your resistances fall so it's a little harder to tank. That is all.

Not trying to tell lies, but the test-feedback says ALL npc are replaced by incursion-sanshas, which don't give salvage/loot, hence all means also mission-rats = no salvage. I may be falling for false intel, but it is not intended.
Thx for marking out the too short explanation i guess

To make this clear again, i just want to know if i missed out on something, not manipulate (action/reaction = it ofc alterates and effects just by asking this blahblahblah)
I tried to find that feedback, but didn't find it yet, so far only this http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=1448034 is what I found.

Edited by: Mira Merdan on 18/01/2011 01:58:55 Incursions are Constellation wide as far as i read, so everyone can just go and mission elsewhere without penalties.

IŠm not sure where iŠve seen it, but i assume that there wouldŠnt be that many incursions at the same time.
LetŠs take 10 incursions eve wide, means 10 constellations are infected, and i donŠt think this would give so much impact on salvage.
Just thinking.

Probably because T1 salvage is abundant and just about everyone has a back-log supply of it sitting around, not to mention the amount already on the market.
I dont think that an incursion will increase the cost of salvage a significant amount.

It's so funny that everyone thinks that those Incursions will take place in highsec a lot.
People need to realize that this is CCPs attempt to get players out of highsec. Of course highsec can also be affected, but it's not like there will be 10 Incursions ruining Highsec all the time.

I know this information is out there somewhere just canŠt find it. Where is yours from?
On the other side, if this is an attempt from CCP to get carebears out of highsec, it must be done by dropping 1000 incursions in HIGHSEC. To stop mission running, mining or paying the subscription fee.

As far as i know just the pirates are replaced with incursion sanshas. In high just in belts, in low in belts and at gates. Not sure what about pirate factions in missions ??? Whith this in mind the influence to salvage stuff should'nz be too high...

The info I have (thake them with a gram of salt):
1) only belt rat will be replaced by Sansha incursion ships, not mission/anomaly/encounter rats.
2) Sansha ship will not drop loot an little salvage (from my limited tests, only different kinds of circuits)
3) the effect on bounties and mission payout is -50% bounties, mission payout and mission bonus. The NPC loot drops and salvage stay the same.
4) effects on player ships: real reduction of 10% of the resistances (the way it is done the NPC weapons do 10% more damage) and 10% decrease of the damage done by player weapons. That way the reduction don't change PvP but make people more vulnerable to NPC. The effect will decrease as more Sansha outposts are destroyed.
5) Last time I checked the Sisi server had 12 invaded constellations, 7 of those were in high sec. Before that I have seen 5-6 invaded constellations, with 4 in 0.0 and 1-2 between high sec and low sec. No idea of what will be the final distribution.
While the reduction in resistance will have relatively little effect on player ships (they generally have a abundant tank) the damage reduction and bounty reduction will convince most players to leave the affected systems.
