I got most of my experience with a AC Cane, granted, but I have seen some folks using Arty on Rapiers... For ~20km engagements AC seems best over all, but I dunno. Opinions? Intended for smallish roams in 0.0, and maybe a tour in low sec once in a while. Any major points that needs addressing?
Indeterminacy THORN Syndicate Controlled Chaos	Posted - 2011.01.17 20:52:00 - [2] I dunno about a cloaky vaga that's a bit o0 But your rapier fit is close to mine. Except I'm currently running 2 nanos in the lows. Tried 1 gyro + 1 nano but, it feels special with 2 nanos.

LiNuXb0y Amarr Imperial Shipment	Posted - 2011.01.17 21:23:00 - [4] replace the cloak on the vaga with a neut, its a must. rapier needs some speed mods, i personally use your fit but change the lows and guns, 2x nano 2x te and 425's with barrage. same dps at the same range as arties, but with much much better tracking/speed/agility

As for the Vaga, for low sec I use neut, usually, but when I need to hide in hostile space in 0.0... the cloak comes in handy, also for gate crashing, and warping after a jump :). (I kinda modeled it after my encounters with UK)

Sit an interdictor and a bunch of cloaked dps ships on a gate and when the scout calls all clear and the fat target jumps in you bubble him up and then wait out the 10~12 second targeting delay.

You make a few safespots and warp to one and cloak when the enemy tries to gang up on you and smoke you out. I think the rapier's lows should be DC - Nano - TE - Gyro, or add more dmg mods or a signal amp if you are planing on camping gates (aka, nanofiber being less important)

Neut is nice but I rather survive the blob with a cloak than neut off a couple of frigate that I would have popped anyway with autocannons. I prefer ac for rapier just because better to pop frig that get close while being able to leave my webs on juicer target.

First off a sabre doesn't need a lock to drop a bubble. All it has to do is uncloak to fire the bubble and burn to the target at around 4k ms to get the initial scram. At the same time the sabre is doing this the other ships are uncloaking with the falcons almost immediatly jamming and the dps ships shooting seconds later with the logis repping if needed. Bye bye poor ship. Don't believe me? Take a quick roam through the nullsec areas around orvolle and see for yourself. Just don't believe your scout when he says local is full of non affiliated alts and the dscan around the gate is clear.

(I got no access to any spreadsheets right now)
