did you people use a download manager or you're using the auto-patcher from EVE, or, heck, downloading it manually with no manager?

Autopatcher was stunningly slow so I downloaded the standalone patch. That maxed out the connection at 2.1MB/s (ADSL2+). Not the first time I've noticed this either.

I think you should get better speeds simply because that was funny.
Oh and don't worry about it too much. DL'ed patch only to notice the expected time the server is coming back is now 16:00 according to login screen. ;) So you have time.

We are currently investigating this. It would be really helpful if you could file a bug report, including information on your download speed and ISP.
Meanwhile, you should be able to download the full patch manually at a normal speed.

I used wget to download the patch after they posted the link in patch thread and it finished in about 9 minutes. Whatever that equates to, I don't feel like using a calculator atm. :)
Edit: Just restarted the wget download briefly to check the speeds, getting around 2.25M/s. I'm in the mid-western U.S.
